Remy is offside more often than Cisse.
-
Arsenal could have had at least one more.
-
It should be 1-1.
-
He can't be too bad, he's on the bench.
-
Class goal.
-
Arsenal/Chelsea is really enjoyable, both teams have pace, movement, can create space for themselves and they both play fluent attacking football.
-
Obertan is shite.

I think it's a case of post what you want.

For Sissoko under Pardew and Carver look at shearer under Gullit and the change in his game under Sir Bobby. You can keep blaming coaching for some players not always playing well. As for his goals, no midfielder scored more goals for us last season than he did. If his goal scoring record for us is average at best then the other midfielders is as bad or worse. Or is he the only midfielder that we should judge under our last couple of frauds? His fitness record alone puts him ahead of De Jong, it doesn't matter how good De Jong is if he's not fit to play enough games.
-
They were allowed to look good, Gladbach seemed content to shoot from distance most of the time rather than try to open us up.
-
I like the one man break, he can move the game from our box to the oppositions and we should get more from that if we are getting players around him to receive the ball. Sissoko need to look to release the ball better but I don't hold it against him that he wasn't doing that when he had no or little support. It's much easier when you know you have players around you who will do something if you bring them into play.
-
De Jong looks very one dimensional to me in the limited time I've seen him. Hopefully it's just a case of having a shite season with injuries and a settled season will bring out more in him.
-
I'm not writing Sissoko off because he wasn't always good while playing for Pardew and Carver. He has ability and I think he can be a big player for us if we are looking to set the team up a bit more positively than we did for long periods under the above mentioned nuggets.
-
He's not as bad as his brother, being able to find the net puts him ahead. Having said that, I don't see what others see in him other than what he's done before he came here.
-
Is that based on what you've seen or reputation? Honest? 70% reputation. That doesn't make me wrong. I think De Jong will be our best player this year, goals and assists. If he stays fit. I didn't say you were wrong, I was just wondering if you had seen something which I hadn't. Perez is a little tricky player who performed massively above expectation last season and his reward for that should be to start games, I think he should start games on merit.

Anita, Perez and Mitrovic should all start, Colback, De Jong and Cisse should be on the bench.
-
I don't blame McClaren for trying all of the players, in reality he would be mad not to. Hopefully he's played Obertan so he can evaluate him before binning him, Williamson because he has to and to be fair he hasn't had much choice with that one. I hope he's looked at Colback and seen a limited played who doesn't offer anything that others at the club don't offer. If he persists with certain players against Southampton and beyond then he deserves all of the stick that he will get. The least I expect of him will be that he plays our best players in positions which they feel comfortable playing in and he tries to win games playing a decent brand of football.
-
It's a big week for him, he has some decisions to make and we learn a lot about him when he picks his first team.
-
Personally, I think it would be awful.

He looks a lot stronger than MYM Aye but he's had much longer to develop, Mbiwa might be just as strong at his age.
