  1. NE5, Did you once say that this appointment should be the last for Shepherd if it ended in failure?
  2. Is that the best you can do? Come on man, defend yor wonderful chairman with a worse record than Ellis while going head to head. Ellis is shit, freddy isn't . I've edited the last. Wierd thing is, you defend the board who sold all our best players for 30 odd years and think its a "golden era" Ironic. Why bother editing after it's been replied to? I wasn't the first person to mention the board and I wasn't serious when I did, OK old man?
  3. We're not 16th in the league and one depeat from a relegation position because of today, it's because of what we've done so far this season and part of that is down to our tranfer window, take your blinkers off.
  4. No I didn't go to the match, Im not only commenting on today, I'm commenting on what he's done this season and what he's done at other clubs. Roeder is the manager who screwed up the last transfer window, Roeder is the one who is supposed to motivate players to beat teams like Fulham, Bolton, Boro, Villa and the others and he's not doing it. History is repeating for him and Freddy. Freddy appoints managers who fail, Roeder serially fails.
  5. CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP, probably the only one who was daft enough to take it.
  6. Is that the best you can do? Come on man, defend yor wonderful chairman with a worse record than Ellis while going head to head. Ellis is shit, freddy isn't .
  7. Of course he can do a job, a bad one. He's reverted to type and we're struggling, open your eyes and look through his past for an idea of what he's done and is doing.
  8. Shepherd is shit, try and prove that wrong.
  9. I didn't hear it but it sounds like a good start.
  10. I'd agree with him if he meant by the time of the appointment, I can't back it up but most people were for giving the job to Roeder at that time.
  11. Our fortunes have changed because of one thing only, Roeder isn't good enough and he hasn't got the lift of Souness leaving.
  12. Stopping going to league games is pointless because most of the tickets have gone already, the cup games are the ones to keep away from and the easiest to reduce attendance figures by many thousands.
  13. They may have been by the time he was appointed, a lot were wanting him as manager by then. At the beginning I doubt more than 1 in a thousand wanted him.

    Roeder out campaigners

Invicta, I think I agree with you but you're crap at getting your point over. Th only thing I don't agree with is the fans being a reason for a good manager not coming, I think the opposite, we're the only reason we'd get a top manager at this club.
  15. It's the job of the manager to get them motivated. yea that fair enough, and i dont think roeder is good enough, but the players seem to escape from any critism and they are being absolutly dreadful at the moment Roeder is the only one who can do anything positive, for instance, if we start booing then that will have a negative effect. The best thing we can do is leave it to him and hope he has it in him, while we try to lift the players.
  16. It's the job of the manager to get them motivated.
  17. Long term, yes. In terms of winning football matches, the manager isn't doing his job to the required level. He was never going to, Shepherd appointed another manager who is failing. Get rid of Roeder and we get another manager chosen by Shepherd, and probably another loser.
  18. find me one source that backs up your idiotic claims and I might respond What do you want him to back up?
  19. The fans, even those who wanted Roeder, have no guilt because of the state of our club, the fans don't appoint the managers even though we did our best to put pressure on the fat man, he is the only one to blame.
  20. Of course they were, Roeder was mainly down to the chairman and we all know his record of managerial appointments.
  21. Roeder isn't the problem, Shepherd is. FACT and end of thread.
  22. You are to boredom what Lennox Lewis was to heavyweight boxing, you're right up with the best of them. I didn't mention Shepherd first, I suppose I did by name but not by title. What about Bowyer & Speed being peddled behind the managers back? Remember, you mentioned per-1992 and players being sold behind the managers back, what about Shepherd trying to do it, is that a good or bad thing? Also, I'm sure my comments were read the way they were meant by most people, Mr Bore of the year 2005/06. Here, have your trophy :first:
