What if he doesn't?
-
It was also a brilliantly taken goal that few others would have scored.

I agree with that, I think part of the problem is that Coloccini isn't the type of player who likes playing constantly under pressure. I still think he would excel if we played a more positive style of football but it's never going to happen under Pardew.

“Those things, I have to learn about the new players, they have to learn about me and how I work, so all of that takes time. How is that going to help, Alan?

Honestly, what is it that you are expecting from a CB in that situation against Aguero? Stevie Taylor superslide? He forced him to his weaker foot and a tight angle. Krul has no business directing that weak shot back to Aguero's foot. I thought that Aguero took his goal brilliantly, he had no right to score but did and sometimes you just have to accept that it was a good goal.

Flawed but he replaces Shola so he gets a thumbs up from me.
-
Without doing so you don't score goals and that's what wins games.

Liam Sweeney's dad has been brilliant, I don't think I could handle the death of one of my kids as well as he has.
-
I thought that Riviere looked handy and put himself about, I didn't think anybody had a bad game but I also don't think Man City did a lot when they had the ball either.

Perez look like he could have a very good future.

It's not his fault we didn't offer Shola a new contract, I feel sorry for him having to work with his hands tied.
-
That's just him saying he hasn't got all of his best players, it's an excuse by the back door.
-
Dummett starting and Obertan coming on is typical of Pardew, he'll always be shite.
-
I thought that we played quite well, it will be interesting to see how we perform when the players have to rely on Pardew for motivation.
-
Anita off for Overran and boo's. It's 2014.

Christ, circus music is fitting, Pardew is a clown.

Today I'm at home while the club I have supported for as long as I can remember are playing at home for the first game of the season and I'm not at the match because of this utter, utter bastard, I'll celebrate like never before when he goes. I hope we lose as many games as necessary to get rid of him and I'd take another relegation to see the back of him. I would rather support us in the Championship than not support us in the Premiership and I will not support us financially or through committing time while he's here.
-
Again, he's telling people what he wants them to think and some of the morons will accept it without giving it a second thought.

Okay, let's make things interesting. What would constitute Pardew failing in your eyes? Not in Ashley's eyes, in your's. Being amongst those in contention for the drop. The situation 2 years ago was forgivable because of a paper thin squad riddled with injuries and a lengthy European run but wouldn't be now. With the likes of Villa, West Brom, Sunderland, Burnley and Palace not pulling up any trees in the transfer market, it would be significant underachievement to be near the bottom. We were virtually fielding 2 different teams in Europe and the league. We had injuries but still lost games which we should have been able to win but the defeatist bastard had us going into games with excuses already peddled for why we were going to lose.
-
We have and probably will, we'll be on the receiving end of it though.

People are taking the side of Pardew over that of Ben Arfa, the same bastard Pardew who preferred Ryan Taylor and Obertan to him, Christ.
