What was he like in the dressing room?

We didn't need to sign Duff and we didn't need to play N'Zogbia in defence.

Some of our managers treated him like shit which was hardly going to bring the best out of him. Spending a third of a transfer windows budget on Duff was moronic and held him back just as he was coming good.

It wasn't hindsight, some of us knew he'd be a good player.

It was good to see him giving the kids game time when he could have been tempted to bring Kuqi and Smith on. All 4 kids have a future here, Smith and Kuqi shouldn't.

I doubt very much that we'll be bringing in anybody as good as Tiote in his position, we might as well save him and start with our strongest 11. New players will have to learn to play together so it makes sense to make sure he's playing the first three games.

Ginola was rarely the same player after his sending off at Arsenal.

Ginola was more skilful than Robert, not that I've ever had a problem with Robert. I just think Ginola was the easier to watch.

He's got a lot more potential and we'll not know if he's going to make it unless he gets games. Birmingham going down to 10 men was the ideal time to give him as much game time as possible.
