If they have the slightest knowledge of man-management then they'll ignore it. They can't afford to be heavy handed at this time as I don't think it will take much for the players to start kicking off.
I'm not sure that giving a player a fine at this time would be a good idea, they would be much better off letting things settle down. They are the ones who have created the problem in the first place, not the players.
It's still better when you have an area for standing as you can go anywhere in that area and meet your mates, it's not as easy when you have a seat number.
This has all been brought on because Hughton was sacked and replaced by Pardew. Pardew has been waiting in the wings for at least a month so he a massive player in the sacking. Hughton has made and repeated mistakes but at this time he didn't deserve the treatment that he's received, he should be picking the team and leading them out tomorrow.
Why does he deserve to be given a chance?
I don't think Ashley is acting out of spite, I think he's so arrogant that he thinks he can do no wrong and that will not be helped by having yes men around him, he's a prick either way.
Pardew didn't only benefit from Hughton going, he helped the process along and has been twiddling his thumbs for at least a month just waiting for Hughton to be sacked. He's getting no support from me and that will never change.
A few of my mates who would never normally have a bad word said about anything Black & White are going mad and I haven't seen that before. I think it might be different this time.
Jol said he wasn't interested in the job because we'd sacked his friend, Pardew was packing his bags a month ago. Pardew is as bad as his mates who now employ him.
