  1. Finding any information isn't easy, he's scored a few goals at different levels for Italy and it looks as if his signing isn't going down too well in Italy as they feel they are losing too many young players to the Premiership. Chelsea, Arsenal and Man City have also taken young kids from them and some seem concerned about it.
  2. Keegan is spot on in that interview, he also comes across as somebody who had confidence in what he's trying to do and that he’s confident it will work out. Keegan has spent money well for us in the past and I'm convinced that he will again. The easiest thing for him to do during the window would have been to spend but it would have been the wrong thing to do if he was spending for the sake of it. That sort of thing is why we’re going through a bad patch now, we’ve often bought for the sake of it.
  3. Hypocrite, I'll leave it at that, once again it's case proven. Shepherd slags the fans, the local women and a great player from a brothel, it's OK. Our new owner sits amongst the fans wearing a club shirt and he's embarrassing you. Add the above about Rooney and Woodgate. :sleepy1:
  4. I wonder what you thought of the Rooney bid by Shepherd, somehow hypocrite comes to mind, not that that's new as we've spent more in the last two windows than we did in the two before that while being in a similar position, I don't remember you moaning back them.
  5. The shirt is a reflection of his complexion.
  6. I'd have taken Anelka, not that we would have had a chance against Chelsea, he still would have improved us.
  7. Another http://www.skysports.com/football/transfers/0,20367,11660_11678,00.html
  8. It's interesting that the club is getting slated by some for not spending yet we had a reported £7 million bid accepted for Woodgate.
  9. Not true, Allardyce didn't spend all of the transfer money in the summer.
  10. ZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZZZZzz. Back on topic, if this lad signs (Fabio Zamblera) it will be another sign that we're looking ahead to the future.
  11. I feel sorry for the players but I've got to say that them coming back is good news fo us.
  12. I should get over it, you're right, I must keep going on about it all of the time, either that or you keep going on about it and I don't, which is it? At least he didn't sit amongst the fans wearing a Newcastle shirt, which would have been totally embarrassing, and I know you agree, you said as much in a post on here. Which decade are you on about? It could be our first decade in the Premiership when we had an average league position of 6.8, that time included Sir John's time when our average was 3.25 under him, it can't be our total in the Premiership where we have an average of 7.64 and is more than a decade. I guess you're on about our decade under Shepherd when we had an average of 9.6 (not the best decade since the 50's), a decade for which we're still now struggling to get over, I guess that's the decade which merlin thinks "could(and should)have been better than it was." Something which most people except you seem to agree with. I agree like most people, that he did some good things, I think we could and should have done better. Anyway, nice to see another thread changing to a bored thread, it's amazing where a '74 cup final thread can go in 2 pages.
  13. The best since our 3 finishes after promotion.

  15. Milner works his bollocks off but can't deliver a cross on a regular basis. He's slow, a bit like Nobby but Nobby could still make the pass without hitting the defender 9 times out of ten the way Milner does.
  16. One of our best two forwards is a waste of space as he's rarely fit.
  17. I'd pick Harper ahead of Given and have been saying that all season.
