I guess you're on about our decade under Shepherd when we had an average of 9.6 (not the best decade since the 50's), a decade for which we're still now struggling to get over, I guess that's the decade which merlin thinks "could(and should)have been better than it was." Milner works his bollocks off but can't deliver a cross on a regular basis. He's slow, a bit like Nobby but Nobby could still make the pass without hitting the defender 9 times out of ten the way Milner does.

One of our best two forwards is a waste of space as he's rarely fit.
