  1. I found his post insensitive and stupid but it's not the end of the world. I'm guessing that you find "chinkies" offensive. I've never really known the word to be used in a derogatory manner so the use of it doesn't matter to me. I'd hardly bite if you called me a Brit which is very similar.
  2. What part of his post made you bite?
  3. Don't be daft, you don't get banned for being stupid.
  4. Nobody knows if Ashley missed a trick, that will only be known in the future, even then, nobody knows how a so called top manager would have performed here so in that respect, we'll never know.
  5. What the hell is the club playing at? Relegation is a certainty now, what a cock-up.
  6. I'm not sure how much debt is being carried by Man U but it must be over £1000 million if ours was over £100 million and it's 10% of what they've got, football clubs must have the combined debt of a third world country.
  7. I'm guessing that we'll be handing the media interest over to Liverpool soon, they'll big up the fans trying to buy the club then they'll go after them when it fails.
  8. It's typical of the media, one minute they build somebody or something up then they set about bringing them down, it's been going on for as long as I can remember, that doesn't change what they are doing now to us although it's nothing that they haven't done before to a lot of clubs/players/managers.
  9. It's not just the negativity and lies, some of them are trying to change history, we've never won a thing and are getting and have always had poor gates. Some of the shite articles have talked about our past in one paragraph then spent the next one telling us it never happened.
  10. I thought Chelsea were getting boo'd around Christmas.
  11. The recent press has been both shite and unwarranted, half of what they print is baseless crap that one or two have put into print and the rest are just following suit. I've never known the type of onslaught which we've been subjected to this season. The bastards who were largely responsible for Allardyce getting the sack by creating unrest then turned on the club for sacking him, they're shits of the highest order. The knives were out for Allardyce and as soon as they got the response that they were trying to engineer they turned on the fans and club, bunch of wankers. As for the ref's, they are as bad for most teams as they are for us.
  12. I don't think the Times liked my "Fuck off." I doubt the Guardian would have printed it either.
  13. Butt has been giving the ball away all season, he's gone the same way as Rob Lee before he left for Derby. Gary Speed went the same way before going to Bolton and he got over it, I doubt Butt can do it though.
  14. I heard a little bit but it seemed to be directed at the officials rather than at the team.
  15. I thought that we had as many chances in this game as we've had during a league game at home all season. We had a few poor performances, Butt being the worst, possibly followed by the ineffective Smith. Given wasn't very good either, he didn't appear to move for the goal or the disallowed one, I'd play Harper ahead of him. Worse than any of our players were the officials, they were as bad as I’ve seen this season, the first goal looked good and Boro could have been buried with a bit of luck, the goal scored by Duff looked at least as onside as the one Boro were given so it could have been 3-1.
  16. I can still remember when Keegan was first here and he came on Sky, the pub I drink in would go quiet and the volume would go up while he was on. The only two people who got that sort of attention were Keegan and Sir Bobby, it's the same again, he's got charisma and people up here want to listen to everything he says.
  17. It might have been for you.
  18. I don't understand how any Newcastle supporter could ever want any team to lose more than the mackems unless we had something to gain from them winning.
  19. What if the names were Wise, Wenger and Ferguson? Hypothetical questions can go both ways.
  20. Have a word with yourself.
  21. Chris Mort has said that he'd be bringing in a new management team who knew about football, he's virtually said that from day 1 so I doubt he'd have kept it from Keegan. Even Keegan is now a liar by saying that he knew of 3 names considered and that Wise was his preferred candidate, give it a rest.
  22. I'm still delighted and don't expect that to change, Keegan owes this club and our fans nothing, it's us who owes him for what he's done here twice. When the mackem chairman finished as a player he gave money to charity and everybody thought he was a top bloke, Keegan did something like that years ago when he was here as a player. Keegan had his testimonial against Liverpool and gave all of the money raised back to the football club, he's a top person as well as a top manager and top former player. Nothing pisses me off more than the stick he's getting because none of it is deserved, he's never done anything that I know of to bring this shit on himself. He played the game as a top pro, I would say that he conducted himself better than Shearer who is seen by most as a good person. He's easily the best manager we've had in my lifetime, possibly ever considering most of our past glories were delivered by a committee rather than a manager. I’m more convinced today than I was when we appointed him that he’ll do well here again, he seems more determined than ever to give us what we want and although we haven’t won under him yet, he’s doing everything he can to take the club forwards, the football hasn’t been winning football but for most of the time since he was appointed it’s been positive football rather than the negative dross produced by Allardyce. We all wanted to see the best manager possible appointed and although he wouldn’t have been my first choice I’m more than happy now that we’ve got him. I’m sure he’ll be a success again because he’ll get the backing from those above to allow him to bring in players who will make a difference, roll on the summer. If by some chance he fails this time around he can still walk away with his head held high because of what he's done here before, not that he'll fail.
