  1. i'm certainly not one of those two and i'd like to think i'm not the other. keegan gave me the best football i've ever seen at SJP but can't help thinking he left because he was told we'd be having to belt tighten for a bit. on another note it's supposed to be very strange for someone on a fixed term contract to win a constructive dismissal case and not have at least the remainder of the contract paid up. R u saying both camps were in the wrong but only Cashley looked the bad guy ,i hate what Ashley has done to our previous managers and im not defending him in the least just interested in your view tbh . i'd like to know who keegan was actually after, there was the( much derided on here) NotW piece about who he was after and not a sniff of denial from the keegan camp, he's known throughout football for throwing ultimatums about, did he really think he'd have the final say on all players, he'd be the only manager around today to have that, i've always thougth that the tribunal found in his favour as a technically correct decision as per his contract but he never even got his contract paid up as everyone knows that those are things are said but not real (ie has alex ferguson the final say if he goes to his board and says he wants 100mill to buy messi and they say "no"). all managers have to know the confines in which they are working and i'm not sure if keegan did. Not alot wrong with that its a pity we will never find out tbh

  3. So if this money is all reinvested in new players and wages are the majority on here going to say all right then Ashley kept his word and Keegan butt out in future its just nowt to do with you anymore . I love what keegan did for us as a player and manager first time around but i wish he would keep a dignified silence but hey its a free country and all that .

Edit thread title please and hopefully Parky can clinch a last minute winner when we go down there. The bin dippers next 5 fixtures are bloody tricky Manure at home,Mackems away who have a good home record and WBA away ,Cithe Home and Arsenal away so King Kennys crown may have slipped .

  16. Exactly. Which is why Carroll should have been considered priceless. Don't think I'll ever get over the sale of Carroll, or forgive the 'owners' of the club (because that is all they are, owners) for their lack of ambition when selling him. I do not for one moment believe we are in a position where we "had to sell him" and "could not turn the offer down." The thought of him scoring 20+ goals a season for Liverpool and becoming the #9 for England for the next 10 years makes me feel quite ill tbh. Those who think that we aren't now a selling club, are in denial. The summer will be a true reflection of our direction with Barton,Tiote, and Enrique getting new contracts and some wise investments from that Carroll fee , i will be optimistic as i see this as a defining time for us and let us judge at the end of the summer transfer window . Care to give a prediction of what will happen this summer? same shit as every transfer window

  18. The re investment of the Carrol money seems to imply Pardew isnt in the loop of that Golfmag statement or simply is Golfmag wrong on the club sale side of things Pardew is fully aware of what's going on, that's why he got the job Noooooooooooooooooooo dont want to believe that

What's wrong with having them like? (No, I haven't btw) Thats my thought on it ,seeing whole arms with Tatts like Guthrie,Agger etc looks shit imho .Not condemming Tatts in general as musicians etc it fits the bill but footballers just dont look right so call me old fashioned but it doesnt look right to me .
