  1. Anderson been absolutely class. What you on about lack of pace? He's looked strong, quick, everything.
  2. Anderson such a difference maker. We have a nice bite in midfield.
  3. I predict we will be much better because we have Anderson, Barnes and Halls refreshed energy.

Let's not argue with our resident Spurs fan. Seems a rather pointless thing to do. Of course he's going to defend his club. Isak won't be going to Spurs, not because Spurs aren't an attractive prospect but because we won't allow him to leave and I highly doubt Spurs have the required finance for that deal.

    Nick Pope

I'm presuming he can at least do some fitness work, while he builds his shoulder back up, which should save some time. As soon as that shoulder has had some workload testing, he should be good to go.
  6. Milan fans weren't overly happy about him as sporting director IIRC. Didn't they fall out?

I agree with Yorkie, with the caveat that you don't always get a choice whether to keep hold of a player. At some point, players heads get turned and the fee is too big. The key is how you reinvest into the team. Spurs are an example of how you can let a key player go and actually get better results.... that said, it's not a strategy I want us to adopt. Any Isak/Bruno sale would have to be offset by 3/4 star signings (and i mean star).
  8. Having an internal investigation into the medical/fitness side would be my starting point. Perhaps rotate the work load of players who've started the previous weekend? After that, I'd want Eddie to come up with a serious plan B. Perhaps a legitimate DM who can sit in front of the back 4 and release Bruno or maybe a change of formation for tougher games.
  9. I made a post a few weeks back where I said we needed to move to 4231, in order to have 2 players sitting. Bruno + 1 and have a Willock or whoever protecting them as the AM. Just to change the shape of our midfield trio. There would be no need to change our pressing philosophy or attacking intent. Howe didn't do that, I'm sure he has his reasons. So there's a slight criticism of a man I adore. Something like this: Miley Bruno Miggy Willock Gordon Isak Obviously that was when Miley and Miggy were available.
  10. The point you make is a good one but if anyone can watch Eddie speak and not know they are in good hands I'm not sure they can be helped. He's the real deal.
  11. Look mate. We are shitter than you right now and I don't want any arguments about it.
  12. Hopefully Tinos ankle is OK and it was just sore. Dubravka Tino Schar Burn Hall Bruno Anderson Willock Murphy Barnes Isak
  13. We will get battered off Man United away like. That's 6th gone. Right now I wouldn't fancy us to go to the likes of Brentford and get a result. If we finish 7th we are for the most entertaining run in ever. The main reason we should be hopeful is because West Ham are well capable of losing games.
  14. Eddie making mistakes = Eddie getting sacked is the stupidest shit I've heard. It's not some big gotcha because someone points out that he should have dropped Dan Burn or rested players sooner. What I do is take those negative points and I put them in the Eddie negative pile I have in my head, I look at that pile and say "Yep few things to work on there son", but then I turn around, crane my neck back, and look at the Eddie positive pile which is still blocking the fucking sun because he got us to a cup final and into the CL within the last 12 months. Just for those at the back... its not recognition of mistakes that is the issue, its the lack of perspective.
  15. It's absolutely staggering how many of our fans think they know better than Howe. He's one of the most knowledgeable football coaches I've ever heard speak. I could understand it with frauds like Bruce, Pardew, Souness etc but not Howe. Howe has forgotten more about tactics, systems, training than most on here will ever know. That's not to say he's immune from criticism, provided it's contextualised correctly. Funny how I don't hear those that are critical talk about him getting us into the champions league or having the best defence in the league last year or even suggest who they would replace him with, it's because their own arguements crumble before their eyes.
  16. Personnel. Glad I cleared that up.
  17. I'm just incredibly grateful that some of the ridiculous negativity confines itself to forums and social media. Out and about our manager has massive support and so he should.

    Jamaal Lascelles

It's bad news, sure but part of me thinks this might not be the worst thing. Let's be honest Lascelles shouldn't be starting for us next season anyway, so it's a case of when we can have him back on the bench. It's also important that we focus on a top class CB anyway.

    Harvey Barnes

Who's watched the goal back a dozen times?
  20. It was great. Like battling each other and laughing about it. Any friend of Bruno is a friend of ours. Shame it would cost 80 odd million to get him out of West Ham.
  21. Bowen-Kudus-Paqueta are exceptional. Put them in Man Citys side with De Bruyne, Rodri and Haaland they'd not look out of place. The issue West Ham have is that certainly the latter pair will be off very quickly. Kudus could start for anyone.
