  1. Apparently contracted until 2025.
  2. Barnes would be a coup but again, we won't do business north of 40m IMO. So if Leicester want 50, they will have to come down in price. A bigger issue is that Barnes is available for free in 12 months, which means that a greedy six club will have already sounded him out.
  3. I may have had a few beers.
  4. Don't worry leffe lad, we are gunning for these cunts and Arteta is shite.
  5. You talking about Joelinton?
  6. Miggy also got two assists FWIW. Wonder if he will nick Frasers starting spot.

    Joe Willock

I'm hoping he becomes a more rounded footballer. Learns to keep the ball, recycle the ball, press players and most importantly stay involved in the game. All of this without losing his knack of being in the right place at the right time. You can't teach the instinct Willock has for a goal. That one away at West Ham is a prime example.
  8. Some players are naturally fit and don't seem to need much work to maintain it. Shelvey is a naturally stocky lad, who I imagine puts on weight very quickly. He's also not very quick, which exasperated the situation. Look he should have taken the bull by the horns years ago and learned that in order to keep up with others he needed to have his own fitness plan. It doesn't help when the likes of Bruce are knocking about, mind. Shelvey was actually excellent for the last 6 months, there's no hiding place now. If his performance or fitness drops, he's out. The one thing you can't accuse him of is lacking character. He's been challenged and he's up for the fight. Fair play to him. In 12 months time he will probably be 6th choice for us but he can still contribute.
  9. They must get him finding them spaces in between the lines. Left backs just show him outside all the time and it rarely works. If he can find himself drifting into the box from the right alongside Wilson, he will get a better chance to affect the game.
  10. The second Willock goal is exactly what Howe works on in training, overlaps. He will have loved that.
  11. They honestly don't do they? I couldn't have handpicked a more Everton signing. At this stage, if they aren't relegated this year I will be shocked. All the tell tale signs of a club going down. PFM Lost their best player No quality signings Resigning ex players Manager critical of his own players Boardroom all over the place The only way they stay up is if they somehow start signing a few decent players or they sack Lampard before Xmas with a genuinely quality coach, even then it might be too late. Can't wait to play these cunts.
  12. Reckon Miggys numbers are going to be good this year. Another one that looks transformed.
  13. It's so clever of them to appoint 3 people familiar to the PL in Ashworth, Eales and Devine. It means the PL can't act like the people running our club don't know what they are doing. Remember when we used to paper over the cracks?... well now we have destroyed the cracks and poured concrete into the hole.
  14. Ah I see. Cheers for clearing that up. Still a bargain.
  15. Reading between the lines, we've hired this lawyer to make sure our sponsorship deals are watertight? I.e, the PL can't block any big deals because they don't want little ol Newcastle on the gravy train? Think I'd actually enjoy the PL trying to stop us, they wouldn't have a leg to stand on legally.
  16. Happy to be corrected.
  17. I doubt it. Reckon it will be dress rehearsal, then loads of subs after 60 minutes.
  18. Anyway, why hasn't more been made of the inaccurate reporting on Nick Pope's fee? We were all told 10/12m by supposedly reliable people but it turns out to be just 7m. They honestly haven't the foggiest fuck.
  19. Its a confidence thing too. Some need that boost of a couple of goals in a friendly, like Miggy or Willock perhaps. Where as I don't think Wilson or Bruno ever doubt their abilities. Benfica is a different game though. We need our strongest 11 and a tactical plan or the opposite could happen.
  20. Whilst I agree with the idea of seizing the opportunity, I wouldn't count him as someone likely to join. Its actually very unlikely buy I keep seeing him in people's line ups etc. Diaby was more likely and that one's gone.
  21. It's nice that we can miss a couple of players and it not be a major issue mind. I like the look of our second choice CM, Willock, Longstaff and Anderson. 3 young English players, be nice to see the 3 grow together.
