As better as Joelinton has been, I still want him to do something. Drive at a player, get an assist, have a shot. It's still all very basic. But better.
He looks a combination of more relaxed; like he actually wants to be on the pitch; and more assertive. None of which could really have been said about him last season.
Completely different role helps. First time he's played this position from the outset.
He also has the advantage of everyone assuming he is shite. Opposition might underestimate him a touch.
