Trippier almost cost us the game against Brighton but I find very little merit in nit picking individual performances when the team performance is so good. Every player has moments but the real question should be; does their all round play contribute to a better team display? For every bad day that a Trippier, Burn... even Bruno might have, they will have 10 good ones and ultimately win us more points than they lose us. Just wait until Pope's first error, plenty will quick forget the two points he's saved us in the last two games.

Covering his bases nicely.

Hadn't realised that it's only 9 days. That crept up. 2 games on TV and deadline day all in the next 9 days. NUFC content galore. Great.

Rather helpful for us.

Compare that to what Klopp would have said/blamed.

He's been excellent so far, considering the games he's been in. He will come into his own when we are dominating the ball.
-
If they get their 2 signings, we will get 7th. Mainly because it means we have options from the bench.

Go and have another look at the free kick. Jesus, it gets better every time I watch it.

The good thing is that we have a core of reliable players who can come in; Dubravka, Krafth, Lascelles, Manquillo, Wood, Fraser, Longstaff.
-
Play like Almiron.

Will give it a couple of weeks before deciding if they should be added. Very early days. They do look good mind.

Game week 3 update: We have now 5 points from 3 games, which is above the 1.5 PPG target which should see us around 7th place. The beauty of this is that we have played a side whom we wouldn't have expected to get anything from in Man City, as well as a very creditable away draw at Brighton. As for those other sides who we presume will be near us come the end of the season: Brighton: 7 from 3 (outstanding in fairness) Villa: 3 from 3 Wolves: 1 from 3 Leicester: 1 from 3 West Ham: 0 from 3 Man Utd: 0 from 2 (play Liverpool tommorow) Palace: 4 from 3 (excellent since they have had Liverpool and Arsenal in the first 3) In summary; US, Brighton and Palace have had great starts, the rest have been shite.

Although if he could be the Arteta to Eddie's Pep, that would work.

Hes certainly got the right attitude but if he's smart he will go abroad to learn his trade.

I'd go: Dubravka Krafth Lascelles Botman Manquillo Longstaff Anderson Almiron Murphy Fraser Wood I think the game time won't harm Botman and its a good excuse to rest him against Wolves if Targett is back. CM is a real problem because without Bruno/Joelinton starting we are left with Longstaff as our only senior CM. I wouldn't even bother playing Matty and I love Anderson but can he play in a 2? Also, despite me not putting him in, I see no way in which Ritchie doesn't start, he's one of Howes henchmen. Basically, I think Howe will leave at least 2 players from the City draw in the starting line up for Tranmere. Let's hope we sign Joao Pedro and stick him in.

Lads, that pass from De Bruyne was world class. That was the difference between us winning and drawing against the best side in the world IMO.

Stay calm, stay calm.

Completely bossing the best team on the planet.

Jizzzzz

Lads, if we get beat, don't moan. City are capable of it.

Reckon Maxi has put to bed any debate over his future.

Kind of part of the rules.

This has been better than Arsenal since they scored.

Maxi pass to Bruno man.
