It's gone way past the point where Forest are just being ambitious in the transfer market. The money they are spending is bonkers. If they don't stay up they are in big trouble. If they do stay up, they won't be spending any money next year. They are absolutely going down the route of throwing money at players.

Kieran Trippier is the last player in our side I worry about. He's a mentality monster and an absolute baller. He will get us alot of output this season especially in games where we dominate the ball.
-
I don't even look at it as a bad thing playing these lot: 1. Let's get our atmosphere loud and proud live on sky next Sunday. Hope Wor Flags have something special planned. 2. Let's test ourselves against the best in the world. 3. Let's keep Botman in the side, give him more PL minutes. 4. If we perform well, even if we get beat, we can come out of this game in a positive place. 5. 3rd game of the season, we can get this lot out of the way.

Move out wide in the second half and was a menace.

OK, that's fine. You have clarified that it's bad by Howes standards. I don't think you said that in your original post. In Howes standard it was a bad day. It was a pretty decent day by NUFCs recent standards.
-
A bad day to what standard though? If this was a "bad day", we are in a great place. A "bad day" last season was getting done 4-0".
-
If you are in here saying "played bad", "bad performance", you want to go and look at our performances from a year ago. It says everything about Eddie Howe and the new Newcastle, that during our "bad performance" we were fairly level on possession, kept a clean sheet and came away from a point. Plenty to work on but all in all a fairly decent day at the office. Also Botman played and was virtually flawless. What a future he has.

Miggy for his pressing FWIW.

Pope Schar Botman Burn Trippier Targett Bruno Miggy Joelinton ASM Wilson 1-0

I think poor performance is a bit harsh. Sub par, yes. In the first half we matched them, in the second we faded. In terms of confidence, we couldn't have faced Brighton at a worse time, after beating Man Utd. Taking that into account, going there and getting a respectable shut out us a great result. Need a tactical miracle against City next week.
-
We've had more of the ball than them. Some poor decision making aside, we've been ok. I can only see an improvement in the second half.
-
Notes: Bruno can't be worse, which should worry Brighton. We've gone long a little too often to me. Botman Looks nice. Burn can't help ASM going forward, perhaps Manquillo on? Elliot Anderson is my pick to make a difference from the bench
-
Bruno having a shocker.
-
Bruno. Too casual.
-
Better from Maxi. Touch wood they don't look too dangerous.
-
Maxi is a little cunt.
-
Think we look decent.
-
Doesn't matter Fraser will be chomping at the bit.

Under Gerrard Villa are going to be nowhere near top half. Good squad but all over the place.
-
Be interested to see how Villa fans react to this win. Will they still see their shite performance or is it Stevie forgiven?
-
Sounds very much like Benfica are willing sellers though and he's very much in our price range.
-
Why am I cheering on Everton, this is mental.
-
Onana looks an absolute unit.
-
What you mean a manager ranting and raving on the touchline doesn't have a positive impact on the team? I'm an under 10s coach and it's fucking level 1 stuff. I'm sure Stevies pashun on the touchline will get them their win.

Darren Fletcher such an ignorant cunt. Villa players aren't injured you twonk, they are time wasting.
