Huge blow given their pace. Let's see what Trippier has left in him.
-
Reckon this could be a classic. Let's see how we deal with their counter.
-
Canny goal that mind.

I agree but the PL would be boring if everyone played the same way. So long as he doesn't manage us, it makes for decent viewing, from a tactical perspective. I'd absolutely love to have Everton at home right now.

I'm leaning towards it being unlikely that we make any moves, unless we make a sale or two.

This isn't me being a smart arse but isn't pretty much common knowledge that we tried to sign Guehi? Even if the fee wasn't 70m, let's say 40m to be conservative, we obviously have some wriggle room. Reading between the lines, perhaps it's a squad size issue that we are dealing with. We can't afford to bring one in without releasing wages or squad space. Obviously our PSR issues are there for us all to see but it's all a bit confusing exactly where we stand.

You've just highlighted the same stuff as me. Spot on. Very mature for his age.
-
At 18 years old he's much better than Longstaff or Anderson for starters. He's still in the "i don't know what type of player he is," bracket, because he's young and I don't know which part of his game is going to be the highlight. For me what stands out the most is his maturity. Alot of young players try and play the game at a million mile an hour, Miley is clean and crisp. His short range passing is superb, his decision making is great. I'd refer back to that assist to Isak last season. Of course there are areas of his game we haven't seen yet. Can he make well timed runs into the box? Can he show defensive discipline? Plenty of time for all that but really looking forward to seeing more of him. One thing is for certain, he couldn't have better mentors in Bruno, Tonali and of course Eddie Howe.

Ange is certainly entertaining
-
Good goal but not creamy.
-
I think any Spurs fan with common sense will see the writing on the wall for Ange. It's great fun but they ain't winning nowt like this. They will batter a few sides but they will also get battered themselves.
-
Slot makes Liverpool winning the league palatable. They are actually a decent watch.
-
I think both things can be true. He clearly wasn't ready and we consciously left him out for that reason, however, yes at some point perhaps Eddie should have played him sooner and we may have reaped the rewards sooner. Ultimately you don't know if they are ready until you test them and when your job is on the line, it's easier said than done. He's class like.
-
He's getting the Lewis Hall treatment and rightly so. I suspect he will start in the FA Cup.
-
Honestly never been as excited about a players future as I am with Sandro. When he gallops about, it reminds me of Gerrard, very similar ability to close a few yards of space or play in small pockets. Obviously he's destined to play much deeper but it's not preventing him from getting about the pitch. Who's the best Italian player to ever play in this league?
-
You joke but the reality is that if Murphy wants to add to his value, that's a great thing from our perspective. He's absolutely someone who we could get money for. I feel guilty saying that because I love the lad but we have to be ruthless when the time comes.
-
An absolute disgrace. Fucking desperate to tear us apart these cunts.

-
I think he might be joking.
-
He's very close to ending Longstaffs Newcastle career IMO.
-
Could have had another 2 today aswell. He's an absolute gem. Weird that he has a better connection with Murph than he does Gordon.
-
The rotation between him and Bruno is perfect. At times you have Bruno dropping and picking the ball up off the CBs and Sandro making little runs in the gaps. It's so weird how the change of position made something click. We are getting the best of both. Can't help but think what it would be like if we had someone of equal class at LCM, and that's not a dig at Joelinton or Willock.
-
I can't remember saying that but if I did it would have to have been with PSR in mind. Nobody in their right mind thinks that Delap is better than Isak. I'm all for keeping our best players.

Ipswich have been worse than Leicester. Actually I'm not sure but they are going down.
