Probably accidentally ccd Rob Dawson at ESPN.
-
I'd love us to sign him. Just not sure it will happen.
-
Also, medicals haven't been "booked" in about 20 years. We do everything ourselves now.
-
I doubt we will sign either MGW or DCL. Signing a quality right winger who could potentially step in upfront would save us alot of heartache.
-
If we sign Kelly, I'd reckon our back 4 come the first game will be: Trippier Schar Burn Kelly Perhaps by the end of the season we might see: Tino Schar Botman Hall Of course I'd like to see us go big on another CB to compete with Schar but we will have to see what happens with our budget.

You don't need to convince me on Hall. You need to convince me that Eddie Howe won't value experience over youth. My point about Gordon is that his stats were shocking, until Eddie got hold of him. Show me Kelly's stats in 6 months time and we will see what they look like. I'm just surprised anyone thinks that Eddie is now "all in" on Hall after a, in fairness, very good spell. In order to aid Halls development he will be brought in and out of the team. Like every good manager does with youngsters. It's about trust. Does Eddie Howe absolutely 100% trust Hall yet? We will see come August.

I'm not sure what your data is showing? I'm not saying Lloyd Kelly is a better player than Hall, I'm saying he will start ahead of Hall. Also, two seconds while I go and pull Gordon's Everton data out.... Hall has unbelievable potential, but he's still a work in progress. Eddie won't be relying on him as a regular starter just yet.

I don't actually believe for a second that we've tabled a serious bid for Marmadashvilli. It might have been an option had we signed Tosin, and the finances worked, but not now. We will sign Trafford IMO.
-
I'd wager that Kelly is much more likely to start at left back than Hall. Whether you like that or not is irrelevant.
-
You know what would be a fucking really good idea... Offer him to Forest on loan, with no loan fee, if they allow us to have MGW for a fair fee. Everyone's a winner.
-
It may well be bullshit we've created. We actually might want interest in him. Just a theory.

Few key points from that video: Not as good as Ake (who they see as the best player to play for their club). Better than Tyrone Mings (who they clearly didn't rate). They think he will be a better left back than Dan Burn. They understand he's not as good as Botman, but maybe Schar (although Schar is underrated by every other fan base IMO). They say he will be a massive success under Eddie. Predict he will be in the England squad playing for us. Very versatile, good at left back, excellent at CB. They say he's rapid, very good physically and very composed on the ball. Perhaps a weakness that he can look slightly laid back and he plays the game at his own pace. They say he's very professional, keeps himself to himself. Is good for a goal from a set piece. Leads by example rather than being vocal. Would be worth around 30m by their estimate.

So we've established that he could be amazing. That's that one fettled. (Not aimed at anyone in particular) I'll wait until I see him at SJP against decent opposition before making a judgement. (Which I suspect will never happen).
-
When he's grown pubes i reckon he will be class.
-
I wouldn't get your hopes up. I don't see Longstaff leaving at all. That said... if a bid comes in closer to 20m, it will be hard to turn down. He'd be a cracking signing for any newly promoted side. I don't think he deals with the pressure of playing for his hometown club very well.

It's like Lloyd Kelly another injury prone player. Played 25 times and there was a period where he wasn't even starting (a more worrying issue). Dominic Calvert Lewin another injury prone player that played like 35 times for Everton.... which regardless if it was off the bench or not means he was actually available for that amount of games. Something alot of our players couldn't manage. On the other hand, Pedro Neto, who I would love us to sign, only played 25 times last season. If you don't want us to sign a player or think players are shite, fine but let's not make stuff up.
-
He played 34 times last season. We really do need to stop this injury prone nonsense about players.
-
I just think data is key. If the boffins can prove x number of people are likely to see "their brand", it will 100% result in more money and yesterday was a great showcase for what we can do for a brand.

If we openly pursue Olise, it will pull another club out of hiding because the likes of Man U, Liverpool, City, Chelsea aren't going to want us sign him. He's a player all of the so-called big clubs will have on their list. The good news is that once Olise is out of the way, it will create a clearer picture as to who are more viable options. I still feel like Pedro Neto is a more likely signing and whilst he's had his injury issues, I think he'd be class and give us something entirely different. These things really are a game of cat and mouse. If we can't sign Olise we will have 4 or 5 other candidates to look at. I don't want to say option B or second on the list because I really don't think there will be a bad player on our list.

So they were waiting for kit sales to be able to pitch how many people will be wearing the clobber for a potential training kit sponsor? Would make sense. Probably get more money now than we would have 2 days ago.

Eddie's gorgeous mind.

Love it all. So much better than Castore. I was never a huge fan of red lettering either.
