It's like we've adopted a puppy from someone abusing it and then won all the awards at Crufts in a year.
-
Yes and again, the purpose of laying out two sides wasn't for what you've said above. But... we absolutely will need to rest an Isak or a Trippier or a Bruno, we need to be able to have someone who can step in, for us to do that. We need to navigate the earlier rounds with using our squad and in the later rounds benefit from having a fresher group.

Started in the CL this season.
-
For arguements sake, with no incomings or outgoings next year: PL: Pope Trippier Schar Botman Tino Bruno Tonali Joelinton Gordon Barnes Isak Europe: Dubravka Krafth Lascelles Burn Hall Miley Longstaff Willock Minteh Anderson Wilson Obviously I'm aware there will be players in and players out and also that you don't have to change an entirely 11 from one game to the next. But that European front 6 is decent but it highlights needing defenders.
-
I predict something very special next year. It will only get better. Tonali back, a couple of quality signings and of course, fewer injuries.
-
I'd have CB as job number one. Under Howe, we score goals, we always have and always will. We need more quality in defence. Pace in particular.
-
He's certainly the best since Shearer and we should enjoy watching him.
-
The absolute temerity of this mind. Spend the whole season desperately trying to drag others into your misery and as soon as we have a good win you play the "Mr positive" card. You and others are rightly going to be called out for being miserable, short sighted and reactionary.
-
Any form of Europe will do. I'm not greedy.

Shearer was like Haaland, except a better footballer and playing for worse sides and still doing it. Even people who compare Kane to Shearer don't have a clue. It's massive recency bias. Shearer was a phenomenon and there was only one better striker in world football at the time and his nickname was literally the phenomenon, R9..... and even he didn't do it as long as Shearer.
-
Absolutely adore him. Even post match all he could say is that he needs to do more away from home. He's a beaut.
-
He's class. Great engine. Great feet. An absolute beast physically. Really solid footballing brain. Perhaps not the quickest sprinter, fair, but he's as reliable as you can get in terms of application. He's playing in Joelintons position and it suits him perfectly. Got a bit of the shithouse in him too.
-
Totally agree on MGW. He's got everything and he's super versatile. I definitely feel that versatility is the order of the day in the summer again.... provided they have the quality of course.
-
Given what we've seen today with Gordon on the right.... Do we need a RW? Just wondering what people think going forward. Even if Barnes is injured, Anderson or Joelinton could play out on the left.
-
Dubravka 7 Murphy 6 Krafth 7 Schar 8 Burn 7 Anderson 9 Bruno 8 Longstaff 7 Gordon 9 Isak 9 Barnes 8 Pure class.
-
Subs time Eddie.
-
Anderson is no longer a boy.
-
Hojberg sponsored by just for men?
-
Elliot "no pace" Anderson has ran more than anyone else on the pitch. Some engine on the kid.
-
Get Tino on for Murphy at some point and Spurs won't know what to do.
-
Surprised I haven't heard anyone giving Eddie the credit for absolutely schooling Posty. Mid-block and counter has killed them.
-
Anderson has been incredible.
-
Trippier should be nowhere near corners from here on.
