Totally agree with Wullie. Mata was technically offside but gained no advantage and his movement was great. If they got every 1cm decision correct, then ok but we will see similar scenarios every week with entirely different outcomes, VAR or not. We should sack this off ASAP.

I don't think I've ever heard Rafa give himself a compliment, unless he's under attack from another manager. He praises everyone around him, like great men do.

Winning the title with Leicester certainly doesn't make him a good footballer, either. They didn't win it in spite of him because no doubt he had a good season but I'm certain he was one of their weaker players. Simpson was ok going forward and ok defensively, where as Dummett is poor going forward and good defensively. That's how I see it anyway. I saw Santon mentioned, he was very graceful across the pitch but wasn't particular good at either end of the pitch. Then again, he was young and managed by Alan Pardew.
