He's very similar to Darren Bent or Owen of old, a poacher who works on the shoulder of the back four. Although he works hard out wide, he doesn't have the vision or direct dribbling skills to remain out there. So long as he retains his pace, he will be a significant weapon in our team, through the middle. Having Ba and Cisse is a nice problem but one that needs managed carefully. Ultimately, i can see Ba leaving and Cisse being a permenant fixture down the middle.

Fancy him to score against Fulham. In fact he will be getting a couple sometime soon.

What worries me is that even when Taylor is fit he shouldn't be in our first team, he simply not a great footballer, good for the oddhollywood block. That said Williamsons much worse, he can't even win headers without pulling a shirt. Coloccini has made them both look good in the past. Give Perch his chance alongside Colo, at least both play the ball on the floor.

Need to play him. He's one of our few creative players and he's not injured. Jonas runs around like a headless chicken, so we need someone capable of passing.

Sometimes it takes a manager and a group to stumble upon a formula for success, that's what will happen here. Pardew made a mistake by not sticking with what was working last year but it will happen again this year. Every week that it doesn't happen will cost us. Pardews not getting sacked, the notion is stupid, we've been down that road and it leads to unrest. Get behind Pardew and let him find a solution, however long it takes.
