  1. As much as a boost as in Barton's case (considering he'll play). Barton won't play, he's confirmed on Twitter that he wasn't being serious. He only said that "know one knows the team yet" ? Well ok then, presuming he's telling the truth, i highly doubt he will play.

  3. No chance IMO, he will probably be first sub though. Like i said yesterday, it's impossible to know what Pardew is going to do. What a boost to have Tiote back though, massive for us.

As long as when he comes back he is fit then that's fine. My worry is that 4 weeks becomes 6.
  5. Sunderland fan, as is Caulkin (according to Douglas). That's odd. I swear I heard someone say during the Kinnear rant video that Bird was a lifelong Newcastle fan. Aye you were right he did say he was a Newcastle fan for life.
  6. Jonas Cabaye Tiote Marveaux I'm just guessing he'll put Jonas wide right since he did when Marveaux played in pre season. As long as we never see Lovenkrands on the wing.

Tbf, back when you registered, we had Souness in charge as manager..... I've always wondered what this place was like before then? Don't think there are many left from that era though.
  8. Then where does Marveaux fit in? On the right, or Jonas on the left? Fuck it, i don't have a clue what Pardew is going to do.

How would that work? http://photovalet.com/data/comps/PCF/PCFV01P10_14.jpg I'd rather have my head in the sand than up my own arse. Being negative doesn't make you a better fan, just a better moaner. I know man, I was on the wind up. I have myself down as one of the more positive posters roaming these boards. Sorry mate, didn't sense the sarcasm. I just expect everyone to be negative these days.... shit does that make me negative
  10. I have no idea if he will be considered first choice straight away, you would imagine so but i wouldn't drop Jonas for him.

Massive questions should be asked, i don't know what it will achieve though. That's the problem though, this regime don't listen whatsoever.

Back in december i thought Hughton was a good manager but was told he wasn't good enough in the Premiership. Then people changed their minds when he was sacked.

Interesting that your post and your signature are in direct contradiction. Mike Ashley is not "the club" and never will be. No no Wullie, you aren't simply negative about Mike Ashley, you are about everything. You once quizzed me about a pub i used to frequent before the match, trying to imply that i made the place up. Nowt to do with Mike Ashley or the club. Ok. You see, no answer. So you hide behind smiley's. Anyone could do that, i'll refrain though. No answer to some utter drivel about a pub? You're right there. Utter drivel? So anything you disagree with is utter drivel eh, ok?

Because before ashley arrived, we were in an even bigger fucking mess which eventually came to relegation. The biggest problem with Ashley is that every single time he's stumbled upon a good thing he's made a complete fucking hash of it thinking he knows better. So near and yet so far, perennially. Just as you think a corner has been turned...

I just don't understand it. Why would you support a club and spend all day critisising it? Even if it is going through a black period? And by the way i've been around this forum long enough to note that most of those who are negative, were negative long before Ashley arrived.

Why's that then Wullie, are they all deluded? Are they all just thick? Are they not just as good a fan as you? If you believe that to be the case, then why? Don't just belittle people, explain yourself.

How would that work? It might not, that's the point but i'd rather be as positive as possible in order to enjoy as much of football as possible. The way half this forum goes on you'd think they were on the verge of slitting their wrists. Not that this forum is in anyway an indicator of your average Newcastle fan.

So all those talking about the club lacking ambition, what do you suggest we do? Kill Ashley? Not go to the games? Boycoutt? Protest? What? Most are well aware of the lack of ambition but simply don't want to admit it. You know why? It's because they/we believe staying positive my give us some little hope, that things might change in the future.
  23. Would be the most amzing U-Turn in football since that day Nolan turned down a sausage roll.
  24. How old is he 22? I'm always willing to give young players a chance, good luck Gabby.
  25. Give me Balotelli over Ferdinand everyday of the week.
