Who was that bloke who set up Lovenkrands? Nolan's not an old player and there is no doubt that at Bolton (when he played in this position, behind Davies), he was a very good player. Fair enough, his form dipped towards the end of his time there but i'd suggest doing something completely unheard of in recent years at Newcastle.... coach him. Providing we could get him fit and confident again, then that is what i would do.

I agree in part but unless we are spending megabucks, i don't think we will get anyone who has the sort of quality of a say... Arteta. Plenty of technical ability in general though, Morrison is good little player.

The second we signed Nolan 451 became our better option. We will soon realise that Nolan can't play in a 442 but he's a quality player behind a lone front man.
