What a crock of f***ing s***. 'Put up with so much s***' Are you on crack? Barton's done nowt wrong man, Ashley apologist.
-
The calm before the storm.
-
I can see Barton sitting it out like, the one player in the world who would literally cut off his nose to spite his face. Only if one of the big sides came in would the situation change.
-
I just don't know what to think. I like Barton the player but he really does cause alot of bother. On the other hand i don't like the owners and they have blatently be waiting for the chance to push him out of the door. Makes you wonder whether Mike and Dekka were just sitting there waiting for him to make one more comment.
-
Can't wait to see what Barton says about all this.
-
That's it though isn't it, he made it too easy for them.
-
It's not good like, once again we are left looking like mugs. However, Barton brought this on, we've been saying it for weeks, telling him to shut up.
-
Fuck off, man The correct decision to release one of our best bloody players because he dares to criticise the bucknuts in charge? We're a bloody shambles yet again. Nothing to do with the owners or the ability of the player. He's done enough to get sacked ten times over.
-
Correct decision IMO. He's an idiot.
-
Didn't he just say he wasn't leaving? So why would his announcment be about leaving?
-
At least Neesy has said it straight to the person. Have a look in the Alan Smith thread, but all of those comments are fine because it's not to his face.
-
Sometimes i think i like Barton and that his twitter comments are quite funny but then i come into thread like this an remind myself of how horrible most of the people are in modern day football. SBR would never have been interested in a twitter account or handing in transfer requests or indeed working for scumbags like Ashley.

If he comes, he will start more games than not.

All 4 have reasons to be a little bitter though? One saying it should send alarm bells though, when it gets to four it simply can't be a coincidence. I mean i don't think they are going into the training ground and kicking off with each other or anything like that, but i'd put money on there being a bit of an atmosphere. I don't think even what Barton has said suggests there 'being a bit of an atmosphere'. I can't see anything coincidental in that the 4 players showing disappointment are have had contractual disagreements or are being sold (despite wanting to stay). Look none of us have any evidence, we are all just speculating, so i won't pretend to know more than you but it's just a gut feeling. I just think we have an unhappy camp atm.
-
Don't kid yourself. There are some seriously pissed off players at our club.
-
Yep, i want people to remind themselves of this everyday, because it will happen.

I don't think Barton would say that if there wasn't genuine unrest in the camp, added to the fact that Nolan, Enrique and Routledge have suggested or said similar things. This twitter thing must stop though, it's every week.
-
No we are just not replacing him.
-
Sorry not directly pointed at you, but the fact that we're not spending vast sums of money keeps coming up. I still find it strange that in every walk of life you look to spend the least amount of money to bring the greatest benefit, except for football. Of course I would love another striker brought in and a decent replacement/backup for Enrique as a minimum, but for some people it appears that would rather we had spent £15m on a striker of Ba's ability and another £15m on a player of Cabaye's ability, and then spent another £10m on a winger like Marveaux. I like the fact that we are looking outside of the UK for signings as they give much better value for money, and the fact we are exploiting clauses like are we is to me, a good thing. Agreed. Some are obsessed with money, caught up in this Hollywood romantic view that in order to sign good players you need to spend vast amounts of money. You are absolutely correct that those who think this way, would have preffered to have signed these players for big fees. They won't admit to it though.
-
Bollocks, they are avoiding injuries with Enrique. We all know it.
-
I love the "he can't play on the right" debate, does it affect his end product like?
-
Brings a tear to my eye every time i think of him. He's in heaven now, coaching their football team, still getting names wrong though.
