Why are we an embarassment? Because a manager turned us down your embarassed? We sack our manager, appoint Graeme Souness who fights with all and sundry. We sack him, stick Roeder in charge, fight for him to be able to manage the club against the wishes of the FA, then sack him. We appoint an experienced, proven manager, and hound him out from day one, sack him, then have no replacement lined up. Then we get turned down by a bog standard manager. Tbf £20m aint that big these days when it comes to transfers. I'd love to see Diego here but i cant see him wanting the move. I would like us to have a cheeky bid on Benayoun. We need pace and creativity, IMO our defence aint as bad as stats make out, its further up the field where we are poor. On paper we should have a good strike force but its all about partnerships and unfortunately our strikers aint suited.

MON was a dead cert but he didnt come here. Some of the names being mentioned have been pretty scarey but i dont believe anything the media says, even the likes of Sky or Setanta make a lot of shite up.
