Perfectly put, I just hope that love isn't lost forever Good post and sums up my feelings also. After nearly 70 years of watching MY CLUB who were a real part of my life my interest is gone. I have even lost interest in the other games which is strange. Thanks Mike, who is now being ably assisted by Bruce

Just hope Arsenal hit top form
-
The centre half who he got away from was so bloody slow. My Mrs is quicker than that and she's 74. He wouldn't get away like that in the Premier league

Insane we've went 8 unbeaten after the Leicester loss at home. * unbeaten, 4 of those against league 1 opposition, 1 draw and 1 win with injury time goals and 2 losses. BRILLIANT You guys are easily pleased

Man management is not about being a nice bloke. It's about managing people in a way to get the best out of them and getting them to improve and fulfill their potential. Bruce is clearly incapable of this as is obvious in the decline of some players and no improvement in any of them
-
As Bruce removes the pieces of the jigsaw that Rafa put in place and replaces them with his own ideas/players/systems, it will just all collapse
-
Great result against a very strong side. I thought we looked really dangerous at times and if Dwight Yorke had been fit it would have made the difference. A goal scorer is always a goal scorer but it is what it is

I liked this guy and feel he's been shit on by Bruce and the club. I'll bet they didn't pay up his contract either
-
Spurs fans are glad see the back of him. Trouble in changing room, stories to the press, not half the player he was, etc.

Been doing too much running I guess

Fancy having to lick Stavely's arse to get an interview

It's a bit like when he got Hull to the cup final. Only needed to win 5 games and 4 of them were against teams from lower divisions

Mike can't be expected to spend money during this transfer window when there is a takeover pending.............again

There are no systems or tactics under Bruce. I honestly believe that the players work on Brucies fitness ideas during the week, mostly running and having a good time because he's a really nice bloke and they seem to love him. Prior to the match the team is selected and players are told their positions, i.e RB RW or whatever. Then they go out and play in the said position doing everything off the cuff, a team of 11 individuals. No system no shape no plan and worst of all not knowing what to do when it's not working. We are the worst prepared team in the PL and will only get worse

Maybe we should defend a bit deeper and cut back on this front foot attacking stuff.
-
We'll score in the 11th minute of injury time
-
Joelinton would be better with the bandage across his eyes
-
Wuh came here to do a job and get in the hat for the next round and we've done that. Exciting football, excited croud looking forward to a nice day out and 70% off at Frasers

Newcastle United v Oxford United 25/1/2020 FA Cup 4th round
jackyboy replied to Just a propheteer's topic in Football
We shouldn't be risking any of our important players. We are playing Oxford and shouldn't need to risk anyone -
He'll only play if he's carrying an injury so that he can run it off

Big Sam wasn't approached it was more distorted reporting from the press. It was Sams agent who asked Sam if he might be interested and he said he wasn't. That is not Sam being approached it's his agent testing the water with Sam to see if it's worth his while approaching Ashley on his behalf
-
The more I look at this Bruce scenario the more I'm convinced that he was never 11th choice, I think he was first choice because he ticks all of the Ashley boxes. By putting out rumors that Bruce was 11th choice makes it look like Ashley and co tried really hard to bring in a top manager but I now believe that was never the case.

Bruce, like Pardew, do okay until they change the team from what they inherited to build THEIR team. That's when it falls apart

Bruce handled HBA well at Hull..................
