Roeder should be sacked for gross mismanagement

WTF was Ameobi doing on the pitch? By my reckoning he touched the ball 3 times in the first 45 minutes. How all the Luque haters can criticise Luque for comittment and say Ameobi is better should analyse Sholas performance. I doubt he covered more than a hundred yards and never broke sweat. He never closed anyone down and couldn't turn the corner let alone a defence

In the history of NUFC, no player has ever been given so mamy chances as Shola. He has performed crap week in week out and is still given preference over more deserving causes. How many full games in the first team was Chopra given to prove himself, same goes for Luque. Under present European law there must be some sort of grounds for discrimination. If Luque is sold on, or given away, without being given a run of games to prove himself, I for one will be gutted and ashamed at the treatment he has received by Roeder. You have to admire Luque for taking it the way he has, a lot of players would have been slagging the manager off by now.

Big deal, we managed 1-1 after 90 minutes against Watford, a team who won their first game of the season last week. Substitutions? tactics? Roeder is more inept than Souness and I didn't think that was possible. Roeder doesn't pick 'a team', he picks what he sees as his best 11 players regardless of what position they play and never considering the balance of the side. And his words of wisdom make me cringe, refering to Parkers goal he said, "What Scotty Parker did tonight he is well capable of doing" ..........Well if he did it he must have been capable of doing it for f*cks sake. Roll on Man City, maybe history will repeat itself and it will be Roeders last game just as Man City was the final nail in the coffin for Souness

If Duff is selected as one of the main strikers then Roeder deserves the sack and we deserve to be relegated. Duff hardly deserves any place in the team IMO

He said that apart from Saturdays game, the fans could not criticise any of the other performances, I've beenpleased with the way we have played it's just that we havn't won (not important really) He went on to speak about Ameobi being out and said that the fans realise now just how important 'The big man' is to Newcastle. In fact FF did intervene during SBR's time, that was when Fred came out with the infamous 'There on Rolls Royce wages and I expect Rolls Royce performances' came from. It did have an affect but only lasted one game.

His delivery has been poor for us but was a completely different story for Villa last season. A lot of his good performances that I have seen have been down the left unfortunately form him! That's exactly what I said earlier in anotherv thread. I'd like to see him play down the left tommorow and stick Duffer down the right

Works hard but his final delivery is consistently crap. The cross for Luque's goal was totally out of character for him. I think he may have the ability, just needs a brain transplant. Perhaps we could get the op done two for the price of one and get Titus done at the same time

I used to detest him but the more I see of him the better he gets. I think that he is just different from the norm and takes a bit of getting used to. Can't be easy for him with the exciting trio of Barnes Nevin and Joe Royle for support

Milner has been better on the left side of attack, maybe put Duff on the right. Roeder will play 4 4 2 for this one and will play Rossi and I hope Luque up front. If Emre or Parker or dodgy he can play Sibs in midfield. The one I don't want see back is Carr

Formations should be used to play to players strengths, round pegs in round holes. Luques best position is the left side of a three prong attack. Playing him up front as a battering ram is about as clever as playing Emre at centre half

It's great news about Shola, I hope he never plays for us again. But, you can't blame FF and GR for getting us into this, surely they can't have known a couple of years ago that Shearer would be retiring and that we might need a replacement, Two fukcing years and no replacement lined up, it beggars belief

Why the fcuk was Luque not given a run out. The guy knows where the net is and that is what we need. Roeder is becoming very Souness like, i.e sitting in the dugout all the time now, won't play Luque, ala Robert. The main observation was Rossi, balls hit to him with tremendous pace and they seem to stick to him. With Ameobi they rebound back to the goalkeeper. Is this because Rossi is technically better than Ameobi or is it just lady luck. To sum up, we were total shite against a side awaiting relegation

The sad truth of the matter is that if he wasn't carrying this so called hip injury he would still be total crap. I don't believe that the injury affects his performance on the pitch, he just suffers soreness afterwards. I can't remember how many starts he has had for us, must be 150 or something and out of those he hasn't had more than 5 decent games. 90% of his performances are just total shite and unacceptable but still we play him. Luque hasn't set the world alight after half a dozen starts so he's put out to graze. Something is very wrong somewhere

It'll be a difficult choice between Terry Mac and Lee Clarke IMO
