Bridge - Back-up to Enrique? Wouldn't come as back-up, pointless SWP - Not as good as he was a few years ago, would probably rather stick with Routledge if I'm brutally honest, rather than disrupt the team. M Johnson - History of being interested in him, but is now a fat wreck and we have loads of centre mids Robinho - Go on Chris lad, ask for the craic. Caicedo - Nearly joined West Ham on loan so feasible I guess, haven't seen much of him. Cunningham - Young defender, be a bit of a waste of a loan Boyata - Same Jo - Not the best, would probably be available. Sant Cruz - Speculated to be available but not what we need IMO.

I was thinking more a point at Wolves, and a win against those. We have Blackpool the same round of fixtures as we had Hull at home, it is actually a straight swap. I meant take more than 1 point off Blackpool over the 2 games this season.
-
If Blackpool are Hull in this scenario, we better fucking taking more than 1 point off them.

Get in, Robbie "Newcastle going down" Savage on MOTD2

Soften the blow of being dropped imminently?

Play Krul, Tav, R Taylor, Xisco, Shola, Lovenkrands & Guthrie (if fit), I'd have Sol in there as well, I don't see how he can get match fitness without playing matches, 45 mins to an hour here surely won't do him any harm. I'd probably look to play Vuckic and Kazenga as well, maybe Ranger if there's room - it's odd that we have such a top heavy squad, so many strikers available but so few defenders.

Yes, with Brian Little.

Fuck me, did that just happen? Also, I'd love to have been at the team meeting when Chris Hughton said: "Right lads, I've made a decision. I'm bringing it back: The High Defensive Line" I mean, really Chris. Young is fast as fuck, it'll be a miracle if it doesn't cost us a goal. Still though, can't believe how good we've been going forward, if Routledge was having a good game we'd have created even more.

I think he's off.

Mick Lowes praising Perch and Williamson and criticising Colo and Enrique from Monday night Williamson was decent but Perch, fucking hell.
-
It's not their choice, Talksport have exclusive rights to many Premier League games these days

Going a bit Arry there. That'd be "He's a top, top player, a triffic lad, would I like to sign him? Yes. But unfortunately he's contracted to another club so I'm not sure what can be done there."
-
If we get HBA we won't get a striker. He's supposedly an attacking midfielder/second striker kind of player, I doubt we'll make him play on the wing unless Jonas gets injured and short of playing one of Skirge's mental formations we won't have HBA in attacking midfield behind two strikers, this is Hughton. Sleeves rolled up and two banks of 4 will presumably be the formation in just about every game we play.

Joe Kinnear is shaking his fist at Simon Bird's twitter page on a regular basis I imagine.

Ah man, I'm such a dick.

This tickled me, SkySports.com's match preview for WBA/mackems, predicted line-up: Sunderland: Mignolet, Onouha, Richardson, Bramble, Da Silva, Elmohamady, Henderson, Malbranque, Angeleri, Bent, Campbell. What an awful effort at spelling that name
-
Hughton on Tiote (Today's press conference): "It's a name we're aware of, but like so many of the names, it's speculation."
-
You did this willingly? Are you suicidal? Shush Darlo boy I've always fancied going to a lower league ground and standing because I've shamefully never done it.
-
Xisco and Barton are back, they're like NEW SIGNINGS!!! [/Hughton]

I just bought tickets yesterday for Hartlepool vs Wigan, Chris Turner obviously sees that as a bad omen and decided to get out quickly.
-
I think this year might see a busier last week than normal but it's hardly the norm. It's irritating having a transfer window that ends 3 games into the season, the first 3 games could see a vastly different team to the next 35 (probably not in our case) for a lot of teams, with players still recovering from the World Cup thrown into the mix as well.
-
I don't know about everybody else but I've gone back to a blank slate on this, it seems everything that has ever been written about this has been discredited or conflicted by somebody/something else and now we just have a long chain of denials. The only constant is Hughton doing the old "nothing to see here" routine.

His form whilst with us suggests otherwise Compared to who? expecting to read that nolan is cos he scored load's of goals last season Obviously.
