  1. Young English striker going to a club who were being paid £50m for one of their players. Completely different situation. For the record, I'd tell Cabaye he can leave at the end of his contract, and not before, but we all know that's not gonna happen. And get nout for him? I know all this "running the club as a business" malarky has been done to death, but that is mental. As mental as the idea of the player accepting it and staying here without any fuss Hence why Cabaye has all of the power here. Well done on proving my point like ;-) I must have missed the boat load of transfers where a player downs tools and goes for relative peanuts. It's not as if Man Utd just paid £37m for someone frozen out at Chelsea

  3. Bet it won't take much more. £17m would do it I think. We know we'd only get about £12m in summer anyway. Why would we only get £12m? Is his contract up in 2015? (Genuine question) 2016. Basically he is talking crap Ah good. His value won't decrease £5m in 6 months then, in fact with a World Cup I'd hope/expect it to go up

  5. Yeah, as they would have played today. But they lost, so it's Tuesday.
  6. Yep, unfortunately this means it's inevitable. "Well, we rejected a bid. See, we tried"
  7. Think it's in squad number order but way too lazy to check
  8. Yes he's a right back/centre half. That's a fairly awful team
  9. I can say without one shred of remorse that I hope he gets his leg snapped in half some day and has to retire. Third bad tackle in less than 12month. 37:09 Foul by Callum McManaman (Wigan Athletic). 45:00 +0:20 Substitution Substitution Substitution, Crystal Palace. Dean Moxey replaces Jonathan Parr because of an injury. Nothin happened in between. What a horrible c***. ? Foul injured him, what's not to understand? Wow, calm down, thought that had already been established by the original poster? I see, I think Dr S was referring to the fact that the injury was so bad that it took 8 minutes of medical attention, and that McManaman is a horrible cunt.

  11. What does that return you? About £6?
  12. Can't be true, I was under the impression the players naturally drop back in second halves under pardew like Well we were 2-0 down, so that's a bit odd. And they beat us 3-1. Good memories, Joey.
  13. I swear that Lee Tomlin gets sent off every week for Peterborough
  14. Only replay at the minute is Preston vs Forest from last night, TV companies must be jizzing
  15. Wonder who the mackems will get in round 5, Sheffield Wednesday or Charlton?
  16. Just don't get get the impression he'll be away this month. It's not like the Carroll situation where his value was never going to be higher, with a World Cup 6 months away and he's already in great form there's scope for him to be worth more. If he goes to PSG and plays for a couple of months and loses his place then it's jeopardising his place in the national team
  17. He could barely stand under his own power by the end

They're like a turd that won't flush like. Man City need to thrash them because as long as it's 0-0 or 1 goal in it these fuckers will find something.

Who gives a fuck? Look after number 1 (that's us) and let the rest be. NUFC put us through enough strife without being upset about other clubs' results too Don't want the fuckers to win it though, just out of principal
  20. It just seems to me any support for Moyes is based on a whim. There's no evidence that suggests he will be a success, he has no history of winning things and he's never won away at most of the big clubs. That's not the be a and end all as he had an inferior team, but even fucking Pardew has managed that
  21. I'd expect him to, to be honest. They have no game on Saturday so more time to get Rio fit if Vidic faces a ban
  22. Worry for us is that we are involved in neither and as the season wears on teams with a lot more to play for than us turn us over. Could be a lot of dull games for us from March
