£10m tops from them, £125k p/w off the wage bill. That's probably one incoming signing. Lot of pressure. Mitrovic should get us €12-15m. I would be surprised if we got lower. It’s £7m in 2015 money. We bought him for £12m. Colback and Haidara will be going on a free, we’ll probably have to eat some cash as well ie subsidising their wages. Not sure about Saivet. This should open up the wage budget for 2 players. The transfer budget should be separate IMO because we have a lot of financial room given how little we spent in the summer.

I see only 4 players that we could get rid of: Colback, Mitrovic, Saivet and Haïdara. Mitrovic would require an immediate replacement, and I’m guessing we’ll need some depth for CM if Saivet goes too.

Madrid need a striker and they haven’t spent much in 2 years. They’ll buy someone big this summer.

So Barca have spent around £50m to get Coutinho and Dembele whilst losing Neymar. As good as Neymar is, I think they might be better off having done this. They need the balance that Coutinho can offer to the midfield and the pace that Dembele has. They still need some pace to replace Suárez up front, hope they don’t spend another £100m on Griezemann though; doesn’t feel like he’d fit. They need more pace.

Nah, they won't even be in 50 years. Not while the likes of Barca and Madrid exist. Are you sure? Do top young footballers even want to play for Inter or Milan anymore? If Madrid and Barca can grow their revenues then they’ll be fine. If they can’t, then I see no reason why they won’t go the way of Milan or Inter.
