  1. those two could make a really good partnership in all seriousness. If Williamson keeps up these performances obviously.
  2. He got in wrong.. sure, everyone manager out there has got it very badly wrong on occasions .. but the facts are we are unbeaten in how long?.. we are in what position?.. lets not change anything and move on. On the whole the guy is doing a top-notch job.
  3. And there was me thinking they were in a big mess a long time before that
  4. your stupid statements, one after the other, seem to stick in most people's heads that's all.
  5. He's not slow, but it's his style of game that I'm talking about. Plays his best with his back to goal, trying to bring others into the game. He's not the type who is going to hurt teams getting in behind them and running the channels. Same with Carroll, really. Both will do better with someone quicker playing just off them. In a recent match he skinned a defender got to the bye-line and picked out an excellent pass. which Nolan wasted, so i would say he does have that to his game
  6. I read that they were supposed - maybe by FIFA rules? - to fly into the area where they were playing their first match, but took coach transport instead.. maybe that has a bearing in the decision.
  7. Wrong again. I quite like this prediction from yourself.. which isn't looking that good...
  8. You should probably check out the pre-match QPR thread, in which a fair few also wanted to start Harewood. Are all those posters 'truly ridiculous' btw? Yes they are, a few on here are clueless. But i'm moving on, since everyone is right and it shouldn't be discussed here.
  9. The mere fact you thought it was a good idea says it all. It doesn't matter that he scored, it's a terrible idea. Why not start a 16 year old lad in the academy in our next figure.. or Colo up front.. he might score Ok. Can you not read.. i said 'idea'.. since a striker without much playing time usually isn't a definite starter in most peoples books

  11. I've never come across anybody with worse judgement on strikers. His senior career started about 12 years ago. 6 years into that career the team about to win the premiership paid £25m to sign him. Explain to me how that equates to him being 'w*** for the majority of his pro career'. Mm i remember after harewood come on as a substitute in his debut here and you immediately started posting 'he has got to start our next league game' ignoring his match fitness and just about everything else. your knowledge is kinda shocking, so that's kinda cheeky. Do you remember who scored in our 'next league game'? You wanted to start a striker with 15 minutes of football under his belt that entire season? Ahead of Carroll and Ranger, yes. And in hindsight, it would have won us the game. watched him for 15 minutes, the only football has played that season, barely played the season before, and you wanted him to start.. it doesn't surprise me from you that's truly ridiculous.

He didn't do anything significant until mid 20's. In the time he had a transfer worth 80k was it? i dont know i read it earlier. that set the world alight i bet
  14. just doing some simple adding up 82 games and 17 goals. that took him to 24/25 so the majority of his career he was wank he is what 30 now? and started at 17.. so majority his career yehuh
  15. If you read up on his career, even for 2 minutes, which isnt the hardest thing to do with the powers of the internet .. it would all say the same.. Drogba was w*** for the majority of his pro career. Words fail me. This comment arrives in a conversation in arguement about Andy Carroll btw from a bloke with a Michael Owen avatar. Take away the last 5 years and his career was amazing was it? At 21 he wasnt even getting regular football at Le Mans.

  17. because you have seen him in a team trying to play football?

    Ronaldo

Since when was he a very good poster?

Ive mentioned it twice & it seems a pretty obvious point to make. You dont think he's used to playing at a higher standard than the championship then? Thats the only way it could mean FA. I dont think you have made your point very well, he has never been successful at a higher standard.. goalscorer?.. get a lot of assists?? A match winner? Not really.

Not ignoring it. I dont see the drop in quality of the opposition being motivational to a player who gets into Argentinas first team, itd be demotivating if anything. He's rubbish at shooting generally yes & should do better with his final ball as shown tonight when hes in full flight. Joint on assists with Guthrie at 8, R taylor has about 3/4. Do you have to include this in every post you write? It also means sweet FA btw.. you should see some of the other players in Maradona's squad.
  21. Is cutting through a defence like that not creative then? Pretty sure you're having a go at him for wasting a chance which he created. Cutting through a defense and not creating a chance is pretty wank tbh.
