  1. That Man City move would be ideal for me. And that is what really matters.
  2. You may have skipped a few steps there mate.
  3. Caulkin has said an NDA has been signed by Stavely.
  4. Clearly a powerful midfielder, reminds me of a young Moussa Sissoko, would like to see him in a defensive midfield role with his phsyical attributes.
  5. So around 6ft, the average height of a sprinter?
  6. I think he saw Antonio is 1.8m on Wikipedia and did a google search of 1.8m in feet and got 5.9 feet and thought that was 5 feet 9 inches. It isn't it's 5ft 11.
  7. Similarly because black players are always labelled as X, doesn't mean a black player doesn't have those attributes. So quit jumping down everyone's throat and claiming racism every fucking time someone says a black player is fast/strong. It's really tiresome and undermines an actual issue.
  8. Darlows crocked isn't he? not out of favour. Little bit of column a, little bit of column b I think.
  9. 20 starts and we have obligation to buy. At this rate Mike might not forbid Rafa to play him after 19 He'll probably ban him from hitting 20 before the end of the January window so we don't need to pay for him until the summer (assuming it works like that).
  10. And that one was worse as that player had no chance of reaching the ball, when you could argue Mane could. I agree that should have been a red, but Mane's is more dangerous just because of how fast he was flying in.
  11. I can't work out if you're being serious with your posts.
  12. Have yo ever played the sport? Of course you do in that situation. The injury shouldn't have any bearing on the decision, unfortunate coming togethers like that happen. The injury was because of how reckless the challenge is though. Pretty much all red card challenges are because "the ball was there to play" but they go in too desperately, dive in off the ground with studs up and play through the man. That's how red card challenges work.
  13. He's looking at the ball all the way, never a red, just a challenge for the ball You cant come to challenge studs first and kick a gk to head man.. At that point he's an outfield player running out the box to charge the ball, Mane may have thought the ball was clear to win. We may as well play head height rules if he's not allowed to raise his foot there like You can raise your boot to head height, just not at full pace with both feet off the ground and ploughing through the opposition player completely missing the ball. It is extremely reckless.
  14. Gerraway Ball is there to be won. Had to go for it. Game has completely gone to the durgs If it was at ankle height would you say the same thing? Both feet off ground, studs up, out of control.
  15. If this is a correct suspension then fair enough - I'll look forward to seeing a dozen suspensions handed out every week for similar - and far worse - incidents. Do you disagree that the two incidents at Huddersfield were worse? I really don't think the Huddersfield stamp was a stamp at all.
  16. Surely if you're built on fitness you would last longer into the season?
  17. I don't get the hate towards the Chronicle, hes very likely telling the truth. Aye coz posting the news of an impending signing for fans to discuss on social media will throw a spanner in a loan deal. Sound logic. It can do. I remember a story of a fake Liverpool ITK posting a made up transfer story and he got contacted by some senior liverpool exec because it caused problems with the deal (which turned out to be real) and cost them a few extra mill to get the deal done or something. edit: link to the story https://www.theguardian.com/football/2012/oct/30/liverpool-apology-spoof-journalist
  18. Not denying that to some extent, but it's very different from this Joselu lad. edit: my memory was more people thought it was a lot of money for him.
  19. Bellamy was 22 years old and played almost every game for Coventry in the Prem the previous season. How was he Coventry's scraps?
  20. If he turns out to be a first-team player for Everton then how? Then good on him and Everton. He'd never do that here. I have some faith we'd be able to develop him. Based purely that I think Rafa will be making improvements there.
