Javier Manquillo (now playing for Celta de Vigo)

Zabaleta aged 30-32 vs Walker age 25-27 doesn't feel the most valid comparison (on the wane vs at absolute physical peak). I think they're both great players; but would take a 27 year old Zabaleta every time. What a man. Sadly 27 year old Zabaleta isn't available though. -
Newcastle United transfer rumours in the press

Or he just meant CB referring to Lejeune. -
Murphy prefers to play RM so it'll be interesting to see what happens with him and Ritchie. Can see Ritchie and De Jong divvying up the no.10 role between themselves depending on fitness to be honest. I don't know how effective Ritchie is going to be on the wing in the prem. Did reasonably well on the Wing for Bournemouth in the Prem. Obviously not as good as in the Championship but from what I remember was still one of Bournemouths better players than season.

A quick Google says East End wore that colour for 1 year. Seems a strange idea.

Yeah, I wasn't keen on it being the away kit but as the third kit it's nice. I'm still hoping for a burgundy/blue hooped away kit.
-
Officially the 3rd kit http://www.nufcdirect.com/replica-kits/third-kit
-
Previously it's been a play on the home kit along with gold emblems though right? Like the half and half and that all white with a black v. Certainly goes along with the previous examples. Still FootyHeadlines seem quite confident it actually is the away kit and it'll be official announced soon.
-
I wonder if it is meant to be one of those special members kits they've done a few times. Like that half black/half white kit they did.

They could have gotten a box for Anita to stand on.

Newcastle United transfer rumours in the press

We shall see. He's a better full back but I'd guess he wont sign and if he did will be injured all the time. Is it not the case that he's largely been over the injury issues for a few seasons now but just can't get a head of Monreal? -
The Managerial Merry Go Round™ - Frank in at Tottenham
healthyaddiction replied to cp40's topic in Football
Why? He's a s*** manager. What makes you say that? I think it's too soon to say he is a very good manager, as his success has all been at one club, but his success at Ajax, domestically at least, was quite notable. Obviously Inter was a flop but from everything I've heard there were a number of circumstances around that which made it a tough job. I think it's still to be seen exactly how good he is. -
Pre-Season 2018/19: Newcastle United 0 - 1 FC Augsburg (FT)

Apparently the original version of the Newcastle article let slip that the other German opponent is Mainz. If it did say that though it doesn't now. -
Saying Tottenham were bottlers for losing to West Ham apparently. Generally speaking I have no clue how she got a job on a Sky Sports football show (well I do, but you know what I mean), but obviously doesn't deserve the sort of horrible shit thrown her way for this.

I'd have thought Gallowgate Flags actually teaming up with Gallowgate Shots to create a flag would be best for all. It helps take away the backlash from this event, and helps to repair the unfairly tarnished reputation of both Flags and Shots. -

So there's nothing between Barcelona and s*** football? It was extremely poor. I've heard the players have a problem with him too. Also, as for the 8th finish, points wise he was closer to relegation than 7th. Everyone below 7th was shit. Not saying I really have an opinion either way, but I do understand it. -
And the response? In the gofund me page he literally states that he hopes they might help out but if not he'll do it himself. It's clear as day.

Yeah, I think it basically means a 20% sell-on clause. -
Walkers have a competition to win champions league final tickets if you tweet them a selfie. They're then replying with an auto message where they stick your selfie into a video with Gary Lineker. Needless to say silly bollocks has ensued. https://twitter.com/walkers_crisps/status/867759375766650881

Who the Farke is he? -
Very true. I'm not too sure. The last two seasons are 2 of his 3 best in his entire career. It's far from guaranteed that he'll get 15 goals again and while he's kept himself in good shape, the age will tell soon. They'll be regretting this in a years time I think.
-
Phenomenal job done by Clement.
-
No, last 2 seasons. Really, you mean he never scored away for us. Thanks. You said 17 goals this season. He has 6 this season, 17 over the last two.

Injured He has a tendency to get injured or sent of when his team is being hammered.
