Grealish is such an arsehole, drags Rose to the ground, proceeds to scream like a beserk maniac at the ref for a free-kick

Calling me a cancer If 45k+ are cancers to the club then why not go to the ground and tell them all that then? Why not do something about it to get rid off these 45k+ cancers? If I felt as strongly as you and I thought boycotting would get rid of him, then I certainly would. Why not do something about the fans going to the ground? 3 days, 80 pages of you with your fingers in your ears going "lalalalala" and about 50 of the regular posters discussing it reasonably till they're blue in the face, and you think a quick conversation at the ground with fans like you will make a difference? That's what you'd suggest to achieve something you don't actually even want? fuck me man, this thread is off it's tits I do not for a single second believe that "Seymour" really, truly believes this point of view he's holding firm with. I just don't think it's likely someone genuine would reply to literally hundreds of posts giving thoughtful and passionate responses as to why staying away is a potential positive for the bigger picture, while responding with fluff and nonsense like "I just don't think it would help" and "there's no evidence to suggest it will do anything" etc etc blah blah blah. Christ, I'd be out of gas after about 3 pages, unable to keep a straight face with this nonsense any longer, were I him. Every time he's accused of pushing an agenda, being obtuse or deliberately contrarian or on a wind-up, he just reacts with a smiley or some other bollocks. It's incredible to me that so many on here have argued with so much patience and intelligence as to why continuing to attend is inextricably linked to continuing and direct financial support of the parasitic slug who owns us. How 12 years (a slave) of the same pathetic ownership, repeating mistakes, embarrassing self-sabotage, deliberate non-competitiveness and lies, absolutely dictates that a new approach to enforce change is needed, only to be met with complete indifference. Nah, didn't you know that the only true answer is more of the same man. Jesus, when did our support become so selfish, thick and subservient?!? Anyone who at this point believes continued attendance is remotely reasonable is beyond help. Give it up everyone, assuming he's actually really a Newcastle fan (highly dubious) and really believes this bollocks, nobody with opinions this deeply entrenched is worth this much time and eloquence. Looks like he's disappeared now anyway, funny that.

His wife must hate every single time he drags his rancid carcass on top On the plus side her bongo playing skills must be superb given the time she has to practise on his baldy napper. Every cloud has that silver lining

Nice, beef borgers for palms.

That’s got to be bullshit Nee chance whatsoever even MA would have had the brass neck to actually approach Hughton after the way he shafted him originally. Utter bollocks, as i'm sure is Monk and Hughes turning it down.

Refuse to pay 16m for a forward proven to be excellent in this league over several seasons, instead spend twice as much on a different forward, totally unproven in this league. But hey, he's younger... Hmmm, wonder if resale value plays a part here

Nailed it. We are being systematically screwed over in a way the McKeags would never have contemplated, and yet sheep now sit where genuine supporters once agitated - and brought about - change. I defended my fellow match-going fans last season - in the deluded belief that the large majority would, like me, chuck it in if Rafa wasn't kept on. Well, anyone who goes - against Arsenal, against anyone - while Ashley remains is not a fan. They are the enemy, plain and simple. As such, they're worse than the fat man himself. At least he doesn't dress himself up to be anything other than a c*nt, let alone claim to care about Newcastle United, any more. These "fans" shouldn't be allowed an easy ride on matchdays. There should be protesters outside every turnstile. "Scab" is too good a word to throw at them. Ashley isn't the cancer destroying Newcastle United. He's just a c*nt. Anyone who now sees fit to pay to enter SJP is the cancer. Yup. Mckeag was incompetent, a bit of a git at times, out of touch with the common man and would hardly go down in the pantheon of memorable chairmen, but he did care and tried in his own bumbling sort of way. He never willfully set out to be deliberately uncompetitive and to screw over the entire fan base in this fashion. There is nothing in the past to compare to this utter cunt of an owner, nothing comes close. What's happening now is very sad. I know many are finding it funny to see how low things can get under this bastard, myself included at times, but when you really spend time thinking about it, it's just horribly sad to think about what we could have had with just some common sense applied. It wouldn't have taken much. Can you imagine a full season with that backline healthy, Longstaff in the middle, Almiron for a full season, Rondon bought for a very reasonable sum (as well as Perez retained) and just 3-4 sensible signings? I don't think top 8 would be out of the question at all. Instead, we quite intentionally have no manager, no signings, no staff with any gravitas at all, the owner taking the piss yet again, more pretending for months that he wants to sell up when it's obvious he doesn't and probably never will, basically yet another smokescreen to hide the incompetence in other areas of his ownership, the fan base fractured and ineptly flailing around in different directions, groups trying to unite to achieve something, anything positive to remove this cancerous parasite of an owner. It's a fucking nightmare really

The early 80's weren't much cop and 88 through till KK in 92 was a bad time (culminating in the playoff defeat to the scum) but we've never ever been this DELIBERATELY useless before. This is the worst era i've ever known, Rafa apart, and scarily it's about to get worse. Yeah that is true and terrible to know. If our fanbase had more balls and intelligence, it wouldn't have to be this way. There's a small percentage of them that I feel for and don't criticize for wanting to still go. Talking about the old timers who don't have many years left and like to see the top class opposition players maybe. A lot of the rest are generally speaking a bit thick with regards to the bigger picture and some, the absolute bottom 10% of the food chain basically. We seem to have more than most of this type "Whey aye, ah'll never stop gannin lyke, nee chance man, Ashley'll neva stop me. The clerb needs we man, noo more than eva". I think the fat spiteful bastard has long since figured this out and knows all too well what he can get away with.

I've seen worse etc

"Ive seen a lot worse" is just a blatant lie. I don't personally think it's ever been this bad, never mind a lot worse. I missed the end of the 70's dreariness and Bobby Shinton being top scorer with 6 but lived through almost the entire 80's, selling the best players we've ever had in Waddle, Beardsley and Gazza, the Mckeag era of sack the board and spending money raised from player sales on a new stand. The only time we've ever been worse off, and even then it's only "positionally" worse, was the end of the Ardiles era, right before KK. We only sank that low because he was playing half a dozen 17 year olds in the team and we were wide open tactically. It's never been this bad in 40 years imo, this is the nadir, from a position of strength with a world class manager and a chance to progress with common sense investment to willful neglect and self-sabotage and relegation a near-certainty. Whatever the issues in various eras in the past, we never were run in such a hostile and incompetent fashion with the self-serving interests of the owner always placed well above the overall benefit of the club and the fanbase at the very end of the list. NEVER.

I'll check this thread again tomorrow for the latest exciting installment of "Fuck all is happening. Again. As usual."

i'd imagine there'll still be some monitoring to do and a bit of preparing and then some haggling. Might have a manager by September

Aye but if Jabba plays his cards right, they could drag this out into August and save on some wages and signings.
