please tell me this is a joke ?

I like Ranieri a lot, think he's a great bloke and a very decent coach, wouldn't want the poor sod anywhere near this shit show.
-
Aye but they've known we wouldn't have a manager for two months, plenty time man. Those match going fans are in for some fun this year.
-
non-starter, he'd want 2k a week at least and has only modest resale value
-
Mint thread this like, a comforting source of bollocks and misery every transfer window

Aye that vast endless pit of knowledge about our club. Wouldn't trust that cunt with me bait box, never mind him having the inside track on our pathetic manager recruitment efforts. He was lined up to be number 2 so if the story is true he must have known. Think we're having a somewhat circular discussion here but aye

I called this months ago! My only surprise is that Allardyce turned him down. It didn't happen man and even if it did, how would those tossers be privy to it
-
Its the Mail online so it must have happened exactly in the way they describe it. I wonder how one goes about snubbing a club anyway? Refuse to answer? Use derogatory language while saying no? Can't imagine Fat Sam snubbing anything that would lead to him trousering some wedge, the shameless fat lump of shit.

Telt ye's, still monitoring man
-
Come here, we won't let you build a team and you're not allowed to get close to anything vaguely resembling success. Even mediocre managers would be telling them to get fucked unless they were getting at least double their worth in a salary. I wouldn't be too surprised if his track record of a few promotions with different teams has been a "factor" in the approach since we're quite obviously going to be relegated this season. Or am I giving our fat spiteful bastard of an owner too much credit for forward planning?
-
Are they beyond the monitoring stage yet I wonder? Better slow down, we need snail's pace progress man.
-
Good owld pillow face, it had to be. Stunning appointment in it's totally transparent attempt to simply wind up the fans and do it all as cheaply as possible as usual. Judge him on results ffs, Edwards should be strung up Perfect work from the fat spiteful bastard

Would prefer Big Ron but those two would do

BZG but the Chronicle understands that they haven't yet.

Not sure I care anymore and not sure it's even worth asking but...looking for some logic here, there must be some... Can anyone even attempt to speculate what Ashley's plan is at this point? Leaving the takeover out of it for the moment, what could he possibly have in his mind? I mean in the past, putting to one side the total incompetence, mis-management and lies, his plan had been (broadly speaking) to stay in the PL spending as little as possible. 2 relegations and several near misses sure, but generally that appeared to be the only semblance of a "plan". Now? I can't even fathom any of it. Get rid of a manager (or allow him to walk away by doing as little as possible to keep him, amounts to the same thing) who, despite being give the equivalent of Arkwright's corner shop budget in a league filled with Tesco's, kept us competitive by being so tactically astute and willing to work with the players endlessly on basics as to level the playing field in many games against much much better teams man for man. Not only that but act like it was a shock he walked away when it was blatantly obvious he'd be doing that for weeks and have nobody even remotely lined up it seems. Sell one of our best performing players of the past 3 seasons to a club who weren't even in our league not so long ago. Refuse to cough up a reasonable sum to sign the striker whose goals were instrumental in keeping us up. Prepare to sell a local midfielder of huge potential to anyone who will cough up enough cash. No new players in the pipeline, new manager seemingly not any closer, some cunt i've barely heard of being forced to take pre-season training, remaining players doubtless unsettled and unmotivated. Whatever anyone thinks of Ashley on here, this just does not make any sense in the context of keeping us up endlessly to advertise the tat empire. So I ask again, as much as anyone cares anymore, what the fuck is the plan? Willful relegation and self-destruction appears to be it but why when the only reason he owned us to begin with was to advertise SD globally.

Ben Dover more like

Absolutely no reason for any player to stay, let alone one with massive potential and who came on in leaps and bounds under Rafa's tutelage like Ayoze. Only one certainty, we'll end up selling him for probably half what he'll eventually be worth. Well done MA, cracking summer so far.

Shud up.

Bet our American friends will enjoy the front foot football and fret when they see it first hand. Wonder what his excuse for a shite performance to replace the Notting Hill carnival will be? Fucking Martin Luther King day!?
