  1. Boggles the mind how these hopeless f***ers have 25 points, seems almost impossible, seems like they've won like 4 games
  2. Sturridge winner for WBA (while Pards grins sickeningly from the touchline) when we play them at St James in April nailed on.
  3. On the flip-side, looked very one-footed to me. I know a lot of wingers are like that but it's something that was very evident, don't think he touched the ball with his right foot even once. Saw plenty of skill and positive intent though, hopeful he'll be decent at the least.
  4. He could only make that definitive of a statement if he had no intention of ever selling in the first place. So why the 3 month charade? He couldn't give a f*** what we all think and feel so why pretend you want to sell when you know there's nobody will pay the sum it would take? What was to be gained? Surely not just to mask lack of investment in January? Even by the fat c***s standards, this is incredible.
  5. Wes Hoolahan, isn’t he the one who scored against Villa and refused to celebrate because there were rumours they might be interested in him? Heard of not celebrating against your old club but that’s about as squirm-inducing and cunty as anything ever
  6. "Set to miss out..." I wonder how many times we've seen/heard that phrase regarding transfers under Ashley. Must be about 200 c***ing times. The issue isn't missing out on this guy's likely modest talent, it's that we can't seem to sign anyone at all, not even another club's development player on loan. Bet he ends up at one of our relegation rivals. Man alive, we're being run like fucking Rochdale
  7. give me the gist of it cuz my pal thinks it's great and I want to argue with him a little more eruditely than I currently do.
  8. One of the most depressingly rubbish transfer sagas ever. Beats the Brett Emerton and Dirk Kuyt ones by millions of miles. All this time and faffing around to sign this guy on a fucking loan, f*** me.
  9. There was one miss in particular vs Nottingham Forest that I honestly couldn't believe he missed. Kitson probably wasn't that bad a player, but among that lot he stood out like a sore thumb as nowhere near good enough. We'd probably kill for a striker like him now. True true. Saying that though, he suffered from the same mysterious problem as a lot of other crap strikers we have had in recent times, of not being able to strike a ball with any conviction. Remember so many times watching weak as p*ss efforts, slowly rolling to the keeper. You are right though, he probably wasn't as bad as that, but nowhere near Cole or Beardsley. I quite liked Kitson, looked good at Leicester and Derby and I was pleased when he signed. I do recall he made super intelligent runs in behind defenders but his all round game wasn't much cop. He missed from about 1 yard out against Arsenal (think it was the game when Beardsley won it with a last minute screamer from distance), trundling a sad shot straight at Seaman I remember and a bloke behind me screamed "Hoo Kitson, I coulda put that in with me knob!!!" He was a decent player and I was quite excited when we bought him as he was highly rated, but he wasn't suited to KK's team or way of playing at all. No but the potential was there. I recall he faffed around before signing, initially turning us down over wages iirc. Mirror headline after he left without signing "IT'S PAUL TWITSON" Didn't work out, but surrounded by Beardsley et al, he could have improved in time. Think his debut was home to Sheff Wed and he took the ball flush in the mush and had to be substituted. Thought he was a fanny for that like.

    Jacob Murphy

One of the worst passes i've ever seen
  12. He's CRUCIAL. 1 goal conceded in the past 3 games and in only one game since he came back have we conceded more than 1 goal and that was down to a shit pass from Saivet. He is absolutely fundamental to organizing this defense and keeping us up.
  13. Only 1 goal conceded in the past 3 games as well. Probably has a lot to do with Lascelles returning but I think it's safe to say the bloke has a clue like
  14. Adam's pass straight to Murphy which led to the goal is fucking hilarious
  15. Merry Christmas from Connecticut, have a safe and happy time everyone!
  16. Well it's what happened last time we played them up here. Might have been an injury time winner from a corner. I remember it being very late on anyway. Hazy memory but wasn't it Cleverly with the last touch of the game?
  17. Maddening that no matter how many games these shitehawks lose, they always seem to be just one win or so from safety, there's so many bad teams. 2 wins from 20 games and still just 3 points from being out of the bottom 3. Win a couple in that league you vault about 10 places. No doubt they'll slither out of it at the eleventh hour the c***s.
  18. Couldn't even manage a goal in either game. Problems all over the pitch.
  19. I expected this season to be hard, a struggle at times, i'm sure most did. But I also expected us to be well-drilled, hard to beat especially at home. Not pushovers. Not sloppy s**** all over the place defending, constantly giving away avoidable goals with rubbish players always in the team regardless of prior performance. Today, I can't even fathom the decision to not make half-time changes. Even if it's "not what Rafa does", a blind bloke could see we were just going to continue to struggle and concede more. Fantastic bloke, top manager and he's been f***ed over by the summers "investment" but he doesn't half make some odd decisions on match day. the persistence with Manquillo and Hoss-a-fuckin-loo is barmy.
