Would you not consider it amateurish to base a decision on whether to keep him on the outcome of one game where anything could have happened over 90 minutes? So now he wins a one-off game and everything is sound?

I'll say this, never have I watched back any of the games from the second half of that season. Man Utd home, was there, that was enough. Liverpool away, fuck that. Blackburn and Forest away when you knew it was over, you couldn't pay me to watch it back. Shame, that team deserved so much more. Man Utd were Schmeichel, Keane and Cantona in those final 15 or so games, they were fucking superhuman.

Great writeup, read it 2-3 times now, you should write professionally I'd add that Pippen and Rodman were also sensational players but Jordan man, a force of nature. Since moved to the US in 98, i've actually watched the game less. Lebron and Curry are brilliant but still don't think they come close to MJ. Total NBA layman though.
