0-1 Why do I not care, I know I should

Why are the 'Golden Generation' still getting a game?
-
The team is comprised of utter c***s, probably explains my complete indifference towards them. The biggest one isnt even playing either. Still recovering from his hair transplant surgery!

There seems to be a presumtion that these new yanks are going to bankroll Liverpool back to the top with an open chequebook when all they have done so far is spend Chelseas silly Torres money.
-
But they are not in Europe, we may be jumping the gun here. (I hope)

Rooneys dummy has to come out round about now

Think of the legions of youngsters all over the country just getting interested in football, telling their parents they want a ManU kit the day after the game on TV. This includes the North East too. Horrific. Howay Barcelona!!!!

This was hopefully the very last time that this club will ever throw stupid money at a hasbeen. I couldnt believe it when Hughton went for him. It was probably one of the main the reasons he was sacked.

Never mind loaning him out, build a team around him. He evidently knows he is good enough judging by his desire to get on the ball as much as possible. The best way to protect a talent like this is to reinforce his self belief by showing faith and actually putting him in the team as a regular.

Waddle, '2 pelanties in the space of 90 seconds'
-
The 'one greedy bastard' chant will never have seemed more appropriate if he plays against us.

Man Utd winning the final in their home town would be hard to take like. Brace yourselves for yet another lost generation of armchair mancs bred from the youngsters watching if they win. Slightly nauseous at the thought.
-
Losing would be bad enough but Jose better not do a Beardsley and salute the Kop.
-
It sounds like there is only one team in this.

Time for Ranger to come on.
-
The other side of easy going smiling Kenny was revealed there when the mask slipped. I wonder what he will be like if things dont go to plan.
-
Rio took defeat well there.
-
Hes good, just dont pass to him.

You would make a good polititian, you lulled me momentarily into thinking selling our best players was a good idea.

Liverpool are likely to not be in Europe so if it happens it will only be for bigger wages. I don't think Liverpool can afford the wage bill they are paying either mind.

His natural instinct is to scrap with and run at the defender, whereas he was trying yesterday to do as he is told and to play keepball with his back to goal. This resulted in him mostly getting it nicked off him. A bit more of his instinctive play taking risks in the last third and roughing up the centre backs would suit him better I think. Its a pity he gave Dunne and Collins too much respect because I think he could have embarrassed them with his pace if he turned and ran at them a bit more. They seem to be told to fall over too much nowadays, why cant the forward put the defender on his arse for a change. Ranger is getting bigger, I'm sure he could stay on his feet and do it if he was allowed too. Ashley Young spent most of the game curled up in the foetal position everytime a defender came near him, is this what Ranger is being told to copy?

Harsh, with the face injury he has he is doing well to play as a target man at all. Premiership centre backs are as tough and uncompromising as they come.

As I live nearby, I sauntered down to the reserve game yesterday following a car throught the WBA training ground gates just on 3pm as the game kicked off. Imagine my surprise as a frantic minion tore up to me coughing and spluttering that I had no right to be there and should leave immediately. After calming him down and assuring him I was not a terrorist and my umbrella was not a weapon I left and walked around the outside of the ground to take up a position outside the fence in a hedge where I was joined by two old fellows who were WBA fans of some 40years or more. We could just about see the game taking place through the mesh of the fence from a distance of a football pitch width away and through the 50 or so people lining the touchline. Together we chatted about the season and how I had made the 400mile round trip on Saturday to see us beat their deadly rivals Wolves 4-1 and how pleased I was that they had beaten Carrols Liverpool etc. We obviously could be seen by the people on the touchline as one took pity and came over to us and pushed a teamsheet through the mesh for us to see who was playing. The thought crossed my mind that if I was someone in authority there I would have said let them in, there are only 3 of them. It brought it home to me just how little we matter as fans to these people at the clubs. Villa will still want my £41 for a ticket this Sunday however while some Villa fans pay £15. Talk about feeling taken for granted.
