  1. If that counts as a fantastic performance I dread to think what a bad one would look like. Fantastic result aye, but the performance was one of the worst of the season, and that's saying a lot.
  2. Ridiculous really when you think of it.
  3. May be a Giggs, but this was a nice jinx by Paddy: http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/29643642
  4. The Chronicle have seen your stats and run with it: http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/jack-colbacks-claims-false-position-7982116 They get delivered some cold hard facts they could have dug up themselves, and they still find a way to fuck it up:
  5. They did ask about the ball boys mate, be sure to read it all next time yeah?
  6. There's literally nothing for them to comment on
  7. I'd imagine any questions will have been vetted beforehand. If a topic so crucial to the fans' enjoyment of the product and to the future of the club is not open to discussion I would like to know why even a single one of those "fans" bothered to turn up.
  8. The words "Pardew" and "manager" (in relation to Alan Pardew) don't even feature in those meeting minutes. Not one of those fan representatives bothered to ask about how long he is permitted to take the club down?
  9. A "fan forum" and we're led to believe that not a single fan has expressed their dismay at the club's current predicament, and Pardew's management of the first team in particular? Fuck right off, what a charade.
  10. I disagree. In fact, what you are saying is something Colo does quite frequently, "bite" when a forward drops a little deeper to collect the ball or lay it off to a runner, and it's a situation where the defender is quite easily turned or simply caught out leaving the centre of defence wide open. Didn't Southampton score their fourth from such a situation? Again, I haven't seen the goal, so maybe it looks worse in motion, but in that still his position isn't all that bad.
  11. A lot http://i.imgur.com/HtH0ikR.png He lets him get a run on him, Muller is even pointing where he wants the ball. By the time MYM has realised what's going on about him, Muller is ahead of him and has the ball at his feet. I agree you can't blame him after that, but he had to spot/nullify the danger in the first place Without having seen the goal there is no way you can say his positioning in that still makes him at fault for a goal that may have happened after a pass and move.
  12. Enjoy today lads! Shame I couldn't be there.
  13. He did mention us in the same vein as Spurs once Still, I don't see him giving up the Ajax job for us, certainly not mid season.
  14. He would never take this job, but not for that reason. Ajax are an even bigger selling club than us. (have I been wooshed?)
  15. i agree, if anything it's doing him a favour having a period with no games enforced as there's no chance he can lose more In general yes. For this particular stat, not really.
  16. "Ashley employs around 28,000 people, but the focus will be on one member of staff when Newcastle United face Leicester City at St James’ Park tomorrow. Newcastle’s owner has told friends that defeat by Nigel Pearson’s team, sitting 12th in the Barclays Premier League, is unthinkable. It could even spell the end for Alan Pardew."
