  1. Great shout, tbh. Not being sarcastic either, he's a good player who'll get better. Worst the carr IMO, my friends who support Arsenal say he is the worst right back in the team, the only reason he played this season was because of all the injurys they had this season in their back line. Is that really your opinion, then? http://images.google.co.uk/images?hl=en&q=ironing&btnG=Google+Search&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&um=1&sa=N&tab=wi
  2. Ferguson just isn't good enough in Europe, tactically. The Manchester United sides he's had over the last decade should have made more than one final. Benitez is just beginning to build his team at Liverpool and is already preparing for his second.

  4. Far from over, even if Milan score again.
  5. I'd have liked to have seen him play up front on his own more, with Robben and J.Cole on either side - shame Drogba has been undroppable.
  6. Kuyt is a better footballer than Oba, has a better work rate, and has scored more goals... The worst signing has to be Shevchenko, despite his undoubted quality. £30m on a 30-year-old who doesn't look particularly suited to the league.
  7. I don't know how Benitez can be criticised. Once again he's taken a somewhat average Liverpool side to a major final and when you consider the individuals both managers have at their disposal, it's Chelsea's style of football that should be lambasted, not theirs.
  8. So, that wasn't just a photoshopped picture before, the logo actually does look like a sticker.
  9. Reina too, over both legs, was very good.
  10. I'm sure Liverpool will think it's absolutely disgusting when they compete for their second European title in three years. The best team won and i'm delighted that nothing club won't be winning the Champions League for another season.
  11. Come on Liverpool, don't make me want Man Utd to win a European final.
  12. If it was us in their position we'd probably love all the 'sentimental tosh' too. Come 10 O'clock tonight i hope to see pictures of John Terry crying again.
  13. I was struggling to think of any attainable ones.
  14. It's rather worrying, he seems a respected poster over there, i'm not sure why he'd just make it up.
  15. Who is not a striker. We're not going to have Roeder hopefully, so we'll be allowed to play STRIKERS up front, not 0 admottedly very very good - midfielders. The second part of my post was in reply to HTT.
  16. Everton & Spain's Mikel Arteta.
  17. If Roeder stays he'll be sacked 10 games into next season when we're languishing in the relegation zone and Sunderland are in the top half. Then Sheperd will appoint an equally incompetent manager, who will most probably enjoy a honeymoon period thus securing him a full season in charge, and the cycle will repeat itself. http://content.answers.com/main/content/wp/en-commons/thumb/1/13/250px-Knot-hangmans-noose.jpg
  18. Diego, Tevez & Arteta are names i've suggested in the past, depressingly we're not in a position to attract any of them.
  19. I'm becoming quite hopeful there's something in the speculation. Sheperd is usually breaking his neck to get his picture on the website rubbishing any story concerning us, and for Oliver not to deny it outright... Just wishful thinking, perhaps.
  20. i say roeder is better than aboutr half the managers who started in this division this season,he isn't great,he isn't the answer but he isn't as bad as yo rant on........there,my opinion....would you rather have pearce, boothroyd, coleman, pardew, curbishley etc Coleman, Pardew, Boothroyd - yes. They may be poor tacticians, but at very least they're superior motivators to Roeder. As Brummie said, he sat there in the second half as if he was about to fall asleep, similar to how he stood there like a statue against AZ whilst we crumbled in our most important game of the season. He simply offers nothing as a manager.
  21. When he wasn't sacked after the performance in Alkmaar it was clear he'd be here until the Summer at least.
  22. Reading's season shows how far organisation can take you. A significantly inferior squad of players, set to finish 15 points ahead of us.
