I'm all for data and insights, but during the game is complete shite and not necessary. They've already completely fucked up the flow and theatre of matches with their horrific implementation of VAR. You know what drives engagement and fan participation...... DRAMA! They're slowly eroding any sort of romanticism out of football.

I thought Stiffy initially did one of those copypasta fake stories until it dawned on me the Apple news app had opened.
-
Its sickening and has completely ruined the game due to its inconsistent decision making. I have a ton of empathy for Spurs fans going through what they did last night.
-
I have family in Alnwick, there’s no fucking Mackems there.
-
He's like the Mackem version of that horrific AFTV.
-
Think he fancies himself at Barca. How realistic that is remains the question. Damn good player, though.
-
so a few of their nonce brigade had their toucher tent blown away from the battlefront?

'meets all grooming requirements' well played, @loki679
-
So exciting being linked with players I have never heard of.

He’s put his bairn in a Cantona onesie FFS.

he retires.

@brummie is a class act, happy for him if Villa pull this off. They've had enough of the same shit peddled at them that we have over the last decade. More teams breaking up the 'Big 6', the better, I say. It's better for the game if the elitism is removed.
-
We took everything from him. Fuck pizza, we’re dinning on his soul tonight.
-
Perfectly summed up.

I love him, trying to drown it out with his earbuds in.

This is tasty: Parker didn't even make it out of August. That's 4 sackings so far, up 50% from last year. Whew! Last year: XISCO MUNOZ (WATFORD) – OCTOBER 3, 2021 STEVE BRUCE (NEWCASTLE) – OCTOBER 20, 2021 ----------------------------------------------------------- NUNO ESPIRITO SANTO (TOTTENHAM) – NOVEMBER 1, 2021 DANIEL FARKE (NORWICH) – NOVEMBER 6, 2021 DEAN SMITH (ASTON VILLA) – NOVEMBER 7, 2021 (Gerrard sacked less than a year on.) OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER (MANCHESTER UNITED) – NOVEMBER 21, 2021 RAFA BENITEZ (EVERTON) – JANUARY 16, 2022 CLAUDIO RANIERI (WATFORD) – JANUARY 24, 2022 MARCELO BIELSA (LEEDS) – FEBRUARY 27, 2022 SEAN DYCHE (BURNLEY) – APRIL 15, 2022 10 bit the dust last year. @brummie Who do you prefer? What about some outside of the League names? Peter Bosz, David Wagner (did well with Hudder's), Domenico Tedesco?

The last time I watched WWE, Shawn Micheals had the same hair and finishing move.

I'd be shocked if Pep & Klopp have free reign on transfers. Influence? Most definitely, probably more than most, but both of those Football clubs are Enterprise level operations like you've described and will have worked out a business case for adding each player, even a no-brainer like Haaland.

He’s not smart enough or bothered. He was an unbelievable player, but he’s clearly not going to be a very good manager. I can’t picture him sitting a room with a bunch of sports data scientists plotting out formation, tactics, etc.

Away fans chanting for Marcelo Bielsa.

My favourite N-O subculture is our fashion critiquing. Think we need a Fashion Council - Football Edition thread.
-
He's the manager, of course it's his mess. @brummie, get ready for the barrage of excuses from Gerrard sympathizers.
-
Yup. They were really exciting a few seasons ago, but weren't able to sustain the momentum once Nuno left. Lage had his moments of quality, all went a bit pear shaped at Wolves.
-
Better to stabilize after getting turned down left, right and centre. Slightly embarrassing for Wolves.
