Was the tip of the iceberg in a glacier sized mess of ITK.

Have to think this would open the FA up to legal recourse as well.

So f***ed they should scrap the wired headphones and start with one wireless set. Well that's just it. They're f***ed under Donald, but FPP have mega money and I assume more business acumen. Them not going up under Stewart could be perfect. Who’s buying League 2 also ran’s, though? It’ll take a mountain of money to get them back to respectability. At this point, given the worst case is liquidation I think even League One stability looks like a tall glass of cold water in the dessert. Haha....I'm a fan of this analogy. This was my point, though, if they go tit's up, won't they drop a league? There's at least 50 posts in this thread alluding to the fact this would happen when Le Don took over.

There was no fight in them in either relegation from the PL and Champo. The culture had been sucked out of the club. Previous iterations of them had the will to win (pride). They were plucky under Quinn, Keane, O’Neil at the very least. It’s been quite the downfall and a model for operational failure these last few years.

They're so deluded I terms of what is going on. They literally live in a different reality to everyone else with the s*** they come out with, it just makes no sense to anyone but themselves. Weird, strange people. It’s despair at the end of the day. They’ve always been that way. Not all, but the general sentiment has always been inadequacy coupled with inferiority. It’s what drives the asocial behaviour.

This is Wraith levels of moran.

They have Mackematics and we have triggs-onometry. ?

They are arguing that it’s really only 2 seasons in league 1. Whatever makes you feel better, pet. It's one long nightmare they keep reliving.

Thought there'd be a plot twist where the snake charmer came out of the woodwork to claim the money PETA were offering for information. The police show up at the residence and find the matching set of Buzz Lightyear bed linen. "EEEE...there's a mysan pylow cyase"

The bloke behind (host) Taylor & Besty has lifting craic. Waugh is as dry as they come, sandpaper humour. Caulkin must neck a pint afterwards to dull the pain.

TL;DR - "We hired him to achieve a goal, he failed, but he got us really, really close" What a ringing endorsement of a statement. Couldn't tell if Scunny were being nice, self defeating or "he's your problem" now with that press release.

Been saying for years , they are perfect for each other. Would love to see him buy them! He'd get them to the Premier League and probably have them hovering around 13th-17th like he has with us. Difference is, for them that really IS success. I'd rather they stayed where they are. To reach that level it would cost £100-150m not including buying the club. To stay at that level will cost money Sunderland have never generated. He’d have to put in £20-30m a year to keep them in the division, one slip and it’s back down and start again. If he were to buy them he’d see them in the championship living off what they earn and within their means, which is mid table championship. His hope would be to go up every few year and milk the tv money before going back down to status quo. Tbh, anyone buying Sunderland should know that is all they are good for without some serious luck in producing talent and retaining good football management. Be funny to see him bring Joe K there.

Just watched it all, so this our potential new chairman? Holy shit, this is insane. That is one nice suit.

"Mike Ashley isn't killing journalists, but he's killing our club" One could argue he's sucked the life out of Grim Ryder. Only positive of that podcast was highlighting how shite of an owner Ashley is.

It's beautiful.

Yikes, not a good look for him. Lad is destined to finish his career in the lower leagues. Why? He's already 29, not much time left to spend in the lower leagues. Especially not for someone talented. Seems the type to fall off a cliff, talent wise. Purely anecdotal, but he doesn’t come off particularly dedicated. Talented, no doubt, maybe it’s enough for a club like us.

That was a sobering read. The biggest moment in Atalanta history also the most tragic.
