It ended 3-0. The Argies will take on the Czech Republic in the final. Should be an entertaining match. That little Argie (All of five feet, three inches) was immense tonight. Moralez is the name, I believe. His ball into the box for the 2nd was sublime. Chile and Austria will battle it out for third. The Chilean support were hurling plastic water bottles at the ref and his crew as they exited. Some pretty s**** calls from him, but the Argies were flopping like flounder. The straight red in the first half is a prime example.

Cracking game on right now between Chile and Argentina. Rode past the ground on my bike and watched 15min's of the first half on the stadium large screen. Got in just as the second half started and Chile are having a go at them with 10 men. The Argies are flopping around like Salmon out of water.

With that hair line, I can't believe he's only 23. Who has hair that thin at 23? -
you do know Green Street is the street leading to Upton Park from the Underground station? doh, never would realised the link between hooliganism and Green Street. Let's just clarify, are the ICF also known as Green Street or is a totally separate firm? Or is it even a firm at all? So many questions! (I know about the movie, but couldn't be bothered watching it as that little elf is portrayed to be a hoolie)

Thats what i was going to say. It just capped off such an amazing day. Mind elaborating on the story? I remember someone mentioned it back when, but I'm always up for laughing at stupidity. No probs. After the game 4-1 game a couple of years ago the plod kept us in for about half an hour, maybe a bit more. Well, all the natives had left and a steward was walking round the pitch collecting the flags. He collected the corner flag down to our right and as he walked in front of us to get the other corner flag we were giving him some serious abuse. He lost the plot, threw the flags to the ground and jumped over the barrier throwing punches - nay, windmilling anybody within reach! He was soon back on the pitch, due to people hitting him and the police pulling at his feet. And the entire toon support was by now singing to him. He walked off to the tunnel crying his eyes out, and shouting god knows whatto himself. In the cold light of day, its quite distressing to see a grown man behave in such a way. Even if he was a mackem. But at the time it was downright hilarious. Did he pick up the flags? What were you singing? Amazing, would have loved to see that. What a complete tool. Thanks for elaborating, mate.

Kieran Richardson - stupidest man in football???

I'm not sure, He played in Sven's first game against Spain. But I also know Phillips played against Holland in Amsterdam where Vassell took the ball right off his foot to score, but I can't remember who Phillips played for at the time, may well have been Southampton or Villa. Mid-table, you lot are getting relegated. :tard: I'm not confident, and I did say it would be an achievement to get mid-table. But while normally I'd be 100% certain that we are going down, there are so many poor teams next season that we might just escape relegation. You really make it hard for me to hate the club you support. Actually, you just make it really hard for me to hate you. For your sake, mate, I think you'll stay up. I can't say "hope", because I'll throw up in my mouth. -

I wouldn't be shocked if Spurs cashed in. His ability to put a decent cross in has always been questioned, his desire to improve it seems to be dwindling. Also looks like Mido will go to Boro if the two clubs can agree how the fee should be paid............ ITK mind-reading at it's finest. If he put the same amount of time on the training ground that he does clubbing, he'd be a worldbeater. I don't have to be physic to work that one out. Who, Lennon or SWP? Lennon. The second half of last season dropped off considerably and he didn't take kindly to being subbed by MJ either. It could be bringing in SWP would give Lennon a kick up the backside, it could be that Lennon needs to get out of Lennon. At his age he should be developing and improving. Right now he's treading water. Got Lennon on the brain too much, Jol? -

Couldn't agree more, mate. Well said. The players will come when we've gotten back to being consistent and up amongst the "Big Boys".

Craig Moore's usual routine.

Sounding good for them, I'm always interested in how former players get on, just to see if we got rid at the right time. Dichio was at Sunderland before going to WBA, he was never prolific but would always give it his all, and was decent enough cover to score the odd goal, although how he got in ahead of Bridges when he first came here no-one knows. I always liked him though. Is Welsh still wafer thin or has he bulked up a bit? As a light breeze used to knock him over at Sunderland, still you can't expect too much for a £15k signing from Stockport. Yeah, mate, they have it pretty good here. Maybe a notch above cult status and a pretty rabid fan base. Nah, Welsh is still a skinny cunt who spend's most of his time on the pitch holding various parts of his body. Still, he's pretty committed to the team and gives his all.

Don't think this was mentioned, but City sign Bianchi for £8.8million (Not disclosed, just assumed) http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=445044&cc=5901 Manchester City are close to signing Italian striker Rolando Bianchi after agreeing a fee with his current club Reggina. -
I'm agreeing with the Wullanater on this one. Strengthen up the back line with some quality and a bit of flair in the midfield.

Classic, can't make up comedy like that!

As much as I hate the cunts (Liverpool), it's hardly the same situation, mate. -
Alex Rae. Both hailarious and legendry. My other favourite moment also features Roy Keane, when McAteer told him to put it in his book at the Stadium. I can't find a picture of it though, where he is miming writing a book. The craziest thing I have seen would be the game against Charlton where we scored 3 own goals. It was just totally bizarre. BTW Bonk, how is the ex-Sunderland contingent getting on at Toronto? Mind jogging my memory which players are former Sunlun' ones? The team itself is doing okay, we're a respectable 5-7-2 and just picked up our first away win the other night. Absolutely shocking football, though. You don't see too many 0-0 draws, always goals filling the back of the net at least. If I remeber correctly Toronto have signed Danny Dichio, Carl Robinson and Andy Welsh. All of whom did a job a Sunderland. Glad to hear they are doing well as a team though. Dichio has done quite well as has Welsh. I reckon they've found their level. Dichio is a Toronto FC legend, also our leading goal scorer. Welsh scored our first goal in club history and Robinson has chipped in one as well. I thought Dichio was from West Brom?
