  1. Club just needs to do a deal with Greggs, steak bake at HT would be ace.
  2. I mean its been made clear he has no such terms in his contract, hence why they've pulled him until they can add them in. Again nothing he said was factually incorrect, and we don't see the same rules applied for other BBC talent. Defunding the BBC is exactly what the govt want, it needs to stay and be independent from the the govt. its presenters should be free to say what they want in public, as long as they are impartial in their reporting and moderating. As for sports presenters, who cares if one if a commie and the other a right wing loon, as long as they're only talking about football, rugby etc on the show it doesn't matter.

  4. How can it be retaken when the furthest player in the box is a chelsea player running in?
  5. When you want both teams to lose I guess this is the next best thing. How many can they get 7?

    Alexander Isak

Tbf I wouldn't mind. ASM is more effective, but Willocks running might be effective on the break. Either way we've got more options if we go away from 4-3-3 J7 Bruno Gordon Isak Willock Wilson

Pope Trippier Schar Botman Targett J7 Bruno Gordon Isak ASM WIlson With that you've got Gordon and Isak who can play midfield if needed, or you could play Isak up top with Miggy/Gordon wide or as a 10. Even though our squad is still threadbare its starting to look like we've actually got some options up front, just a shame no one can stick in the net at the moment!

    Match Atmosphere

100% on board with this even though I sit in the posh seats (yes there are people signing there too). Grouping like minded fans together is the key, which will involve the club moving people, though they might not even be aware of the issue. How exactly you do this I'm not sure but having at least two "smaller" signing corners (Strawberry and L7) for the rest of this season would be a good start. Gallowgate safe standing, would be ideal though more of a longer term thing. Song book needs a rework, and some "guidance" on how to sing the others, Blaydon Races isn't actually a race to finish the song as fast as possible. There is a lot of noise at times, during and after games. We just need these people grouped together, so those who want to sing and stand can, whilst those who want to sit and join in occasionally can as well.
  11. Excellent choice! Would be keen for another meet up for a home game, suely someone can wangle a block of ticket with the club?

    Cup Final Pictures

@ibjdrgn , Famous tynemouth chocolatier, and me.
  13. Well of course, but those fans are still going to go. So probably best if they can sit together. But you'd like them to join in with the singing at least.
  14. I hope the next time we get to a cup final they have an option for those who want to sit quietly to be grouped together. Ideally you want everyone singing, but that stops older fans going. Not sure what the solution is.
  15. Been the same in all the league cup games all season. No idea why they have it, probably some EFL rule on multi ball
  16. Both fans were loud, boths fans were quiet at times. It's not as if either set of fans were singing non stop for 90 minutes. Yesterday we saw all walks of life in black and white shirts, radgies to grannies. Now this has riled some people up on twitter as they're complaining about people not singing or being real fans. Granted there were people who aren't ST holders who has tickets so not sure how they got in. I'm all for fans supporting and singing, but are we then stopping other supporters from going, who aren't as vocal? I don't know what the answer is, though a thread on atmosphere, songs and other ideas is needed.
  17. All the Man Utd fans at the game looks like stone island / canada goose radgies, only saw two shirts all day. They were loud at times, but so were we. Lots of good chants on the way out, best moment was the cockney Manc who was getting annoyed at the "you only live round the corner". Our support was far more of a mix from younger kids all the way to grannies and grandads. I'd suggest in future the club looks at sitting people in to different "singing" sections so those who want to stand can, but was plenty of noise around me in 528. We definitely need some more songs that flow into a second verse a bit easier, to keep the noise going for longer. In the past all we've had is being proud of out support or the team's effort, difference this time is we're here to stay and will be competing a lot more going forward. Yesterday we needed a moment of magic from someone then the ball to fall to one of our players. Maxi does Dalot but his shot is saved, Miggy could play in Bruno but doesn't. Anyway onwards and upwards.
  18. The yank on the Tyne is all mine, all mine!
  19. Inside now, never see so many black and white shirts on the way here. Ever man u seems to think they're off for a night out with all the stone island clobber, not a shirt to be seen. Far more relaxed now I'm here, I'm sure the lads will do us proud whatever happens. HOWAY THE LADS?
  20. At kings cross, every train that arrives from the north is followed by a wall of noise. Tomorrow is going to be class.
  21. On the train to Kings Cross now, nerves are fully kicking in. Going to be a mess come Sunday morning.
