  1. Give it a rest Deep. Go and grow some pubes.
  2. Aye thats exactly the same as sayings its not going to be renewed. I call it a draw then. You can call it what you like mate! You're wrong, end of. 'As usual' might i add?
  3. And then a breath after that he said "nothing has been decided." Christ Almighty Christ.
  4. If we get a draw i'll be absolutely over the moon. But, tbh, if there's any ground outside of the Top 4 where i've got us nailed on to lose - it's the Reebok. Difficult place to go, and even harder now. Bolton doing the double over us. Christ... how times change. However, if we play with the fight and passion and play as a team like we did against Spurs, we'll give them one hell of a game. Would love to smash Sam Allardyce and his twats of a team. 4-1 to Newcastle if there's any luck... i don't mind Gary Speed scoring a 93rd minute consolation. ;-)
  5. Read post above I said I meant club not Roeder. Well it's bollocks tbh from a site that i've never read anything on in my life. Roder said in the summer that Bramble was going to have to play for a new contract, and that they weren't going to discuss anything until the turn of the New Year or something like that. No one at the club has ever said that Bramble's contract is definitely not going to be renewed.
  6. Nigerias' primary language is english. Really? Ah right... i didn't know that. Thought it was 'Yoruba' or something obscure like that. Cheers.
  7. Deep, where does Roeder say it?
  8. Nice first post, Lloydie! Duff - 4/10. Hasn't delivered the good on the pitch and wasn't needed in the first place. Cannot see how he can even surpass the 5 out of 10 mark th. I have faith in him to get better, but he won't get significantly better, i don't think. I've realised why Chelsea only let him go for a surprisingly low amount of money. Martins - 8/10. ALways had faith in him to come good, yet never expected a huge amount in his first season. If someone had offered me at the start of the season 11 goals from Martins come May, i would have been relatively happy. Now he's on course to get atleast 15, which is a bloody good achievement considering his circumstances. Roeder knew what we needed and he delivered. Giuseppe Rossi - 6/10. Came in to make up the numbers really, and that's what he's done. It was disgraceful that we were forced into signing him, because we should have bought someone long before. It was a clear panic buy, and Roeder got a relatively decent one. Rossi's come in and done what was needed, tbh, and you can't slate him for that. Looks a decent player. Sibierski - 7/10. Not only has he become a cup talisman, but he has actually looked a half-decent player. Excellent value for money; he's done an almighty job for us. Again, a bit of a disgrace that we were forced into brining someone of Sibierski's stature in, but out of all panic buys, this is a canny one. He's come in and done more than what was expected - a cracking job. Bernard - 0/10. Temporary fan-appeasing exercise.
  9. The fact that you said that I get everything wrong, is becoming funnier by the day tbh.
  10. I'm really starting to love Oba. Not only is he scoring goals for us and doing the rest of the good stuff on the pitch, but he's really becoming a character. His interview against Blackburn was just funny, and that was a superb interbiew. Did he really say all that - or was it translated? Superb English if they were all his own words. The Duff sentence opitimises what i mean about him being a character. He's off his head! ;-) I have faith in Duff to improve at Newcastle, but he's been shite so far. I want to see himi back in the team because i'm sure we're yet to see the best of him. I agree that, if Duff hits form, we'll become an even better team - but he's nowt special. I've realised why Chelsea accepted a mere £5m for him.
  11. Would like Crouch here for the right price. He's a good player that has developed at Liverpool... but he's wasted there now. He needs to play regular football, especially now that England tend to rely on him quite frequently. But Benitez has already ruled out a move, which doesn't surprise me. I know little about Carew. Why can't we just get a striker on the cheap, that actually knows this league and will just do a job for us? Someone who doesn't have to live up to anything and that doesnt have to adapt? I know there's a few people on here that rave about him, but do we have to...? *Paddies* Oh and... Parker won't go.

Kind of on the same sorta topic... but i was wondering about this particular issue yesterday, when i saw that Thierry Henry was sat watching the game from the sidelines, despite having a fairly significant injury. Does Owen go to the Newcastle games? :?
  13. Aye mate, i'd take that. Speaking to my Derby-maniac uncle (i know, hardly the most trustworthy of sources) - he reckons that if a £3m bid came in for Barnes, Davies would probably let him go. Mega versatile player, goalscoring midfielder. Sounds like another Dyer to me, without the injury. As i've been saying since we were linked with him, i'd rather wait until the summer, but he'd be impossible to sign by then. Know virtually nowt about Bale, but he seems to be highly rated by everybody, even Arsenal. And i think i trust Arsene Wenger in the young-natural-talent area.
  14. I can see your side of the argument, Bramble has cost us points with his mistakes but than so have others. My point is that our squad is tiny and if it's relatively cheap to keep Bramble then I'd keep him. I know mate, the squad's thin. But if we get rid of Bramble, and bring in one defender, the squad doesn't get any thinner yet it improves considerably. We've been on the lookout for a defender for yonks and it'll be a universal catastrophy, aswell as a big shock, if we don't get one in Jan... so i'm not really bothered. I'll just be relieved to get him off our books. How can you trust the club to replace him when they haven't even replaced Boumsong yet? I know mate - you can be forgiven for not trusting Roeder to do the business in the transfer window. But i think a centre-back has been one of his priorities since June... he just never got his act together. I'll be absolutely stunned if we don't see one coming through the doors in January, it would just defy all logic.
  15. I know you didn't, i was just explaining my point further.
  16. I did http://blahblahblah ... i'm sure?
  17. Think it was targeted at Kingdawson, who likes the rubbery tension around his tiny little cockney dick.
