One or the other for me, both heavily left footed. If it came down to a choice there shouldn't really even be a seconds thought. If the three options were: Distin for £2.5m Upson for £4m Distin and Upson for £6.5m Wouldn't take me a second to choose. Option 3 would allow us to offload Bramble aswell.

I like Upson, but any more than £4m and i'm not really interested. Distin and Upson for £6m-or-so is good business. Distin and Upson for £9/10m just isn't worth it.

Don't think we crave height, we just crave a presence. Sibierski's fairly immobile, Dyer isn't a striker and Martins is by no means a natural goalscorer - no matter what Roeder says. All we need is someone who will score every time he gets the ball inside the box. And is cheap. He's not everyone's cup of tea but Viduka fits the bill for us pretty perfectly tbh.
