  1. I just have to say, the first two goals were both absolutely fantastic goals - and NOTHING like what would have been scored in our previous few seasons. First goal: Sublime header. Nowt like that since Shearer. Second goal: The sheer determination, strength and awareness of Geremi to bring the ball back, hold off the defender and lay it off to Rozehnal. The exceptional vision and technique of Rozehnal to play the ball to N'Zogbia; probably some luck involved, but i couldn't believe it when the ball landed perfectly at N'Zogbia's feet. Then the fantastic mazy run and ball from N'Zogbia into the box. Fantastic goal. Great to watch us like that. Third goal was pretty good n'all. Nice to see us so effective on the counter-attack.
  2. Milner, although erratic, can beat his man. Milner, although erratic, can put in a good cross. Milner can shoot, and score, n'all. Duff can do jack s***. I keep forgetting he plays for us. Sorry but Milner can do neither of these you listed above... Utter nonsense.
  3. Eek, Van Persie's starting? Probably Da Silva alongside him aswell then; doubt they'd play both RVP and Adebayor... Harper Beye Rozehnal Faye Enrique Milner Geremi Butt N'Zogbia Viduka Martins Drop Viduka? Are you mayyyyyd? Also, i wouldn't drop one of Butt or Geremi, cos if they both play well, they'll assist us in setting up shop (which we'll need to go against such a good, offensive team). I'd have Faye starting at the back cos he's a big motherfucker and will hopefully combat the aerial threat of Da Silva/Adebayor, and Rozehnal who's tall aswell, who should also counter the pace of Van Persie or whoever.
  4. As I know you hate Duff I realised you were on about him, but of course you could have been on about Zog at the start of your post. As for your second last sentence...how exactly does he "act like a wanker on the pitch?" Have you been drinking something you shouldn't have been? Differences N'Zogbia as follows: He was 19. He had lost his father. He was in a foreign country. He had suffered gross mismanagement. He was constantly being kept out of the team by someone rubbish. He had previously been an exceptional performer for the team. There's reasons off the top of my head. I don't 'hate' Duff, i just think he's shit. He might be a decent member of the squad - never a first teamer though, unless N'Zogbia/Milner suffer injuries or a really bad run of form. And he acts like a great jessie on the pitch. He playacted, and when losing the ball, stood up screaming and waving his arms at the referee, rather than trying to win the ball back. I'm content with him being a member of the squad, like i said earlier - because there's experience and a quality deep in the midst of him somewhere. I don't 'hate' him ffs. There's nothing in that post you quoted of mine that was severely out of place. He isn't shit. If he was fit for the next match I'd put him in the team ahead of Milner without a shadow of doubt. Don't think i agree with that, but it would be wrong of me to write off what Allardyce might actually be able to do with him. You're (not just you) making me out to sound like i want him out of the team and the club pronto, and yeah although i've said i reckon he's crap, i've said on several occassions in this thread that him returning would be good for the squad.
  5. but you're basing your view of him on last season? can't think of anyone who wasn't shite last season. i do rate duff and his addition will only be good news for the team as a whole 'Team' and 'squad' are two different things. Hehe, it'll be good for the squad.
  6. Baring in mind, in fairness, Duff won't be back for a while yet and we're not to know how well N'Zogbia is performing. Still, as i said in my first post, i don't hold out a lot of hope for Duff...

  8. That post made me switch on. Looks like she is n'all.
  9. Milner, although erratic, can beat his man. Milner, although erratic, can put in a good cross. Milner can shoot, and score, n'all. Duff can do jack shit. I keep forgetting he plays for us. Duff showed he has ability at home against Alkmaar, away against West ham, and in numerous Blackburn and Chelsea games. Don't judge him until we see him feature with good team mates and a good manager. Was good against Zulte Waregem n'all. Oh, i'm convinced! He might be a decent player for the squad, because there's experience there and there was once quality there which might pop up every so often, but i can't see him ever (rightfully) being a regular in our team; and i'll be pissed off to hell if he comes in and hinders the development of Milner and N'Zogbia again. Btw, wtf did he do against Alkmaar?
  10. Was fucking shite last season, he wasn't on 'top form' - ever. What is this top form, btw? Season 04/05? He's been on the downfall since then, was God awful last season, is a year older, is a major injury worse off, blah blah. Plus, not only is he shite, he acts like a wanker on the pitch. Not a player i hold hope out for.
  11. Milner, although erratic, can beat his man. Milner, although erratic, can put in a good cross. Milner can shoot, and score, n'all. Duff can do jack shit. I keep forgetting he plays for us.
  12. Zog, by an absolute fucking landslide. And get rid of that ruddy 'undecided' option.
  13. Did anyone see Metalist Kharkiv's physio?
  14. My thoughts exactly, i've been saying this to my mates, once Enrique is settled, Charlie should be on the left wing, Milner on the right as both of these will hug the touchline, give width and supply crosses. The midfield will come good when this happens on a regular basis... With Barton charging through the middle n'all. Och!
  15. Given that he's served under the previous six managers, i'd be surprised if Allardyce were to chuck him now.
  16. Yorkie

    We didn't did we?

Geremi seems to fill in when the RB is up the field, I noticed him shift to RB when ever we had a gap there. Ah, now I never noticed that. Had my eyes on Beye and Smith too much. If so though, that's even better to know. http://www.mysterynet.com/images/mn/greats/sherlock.jpg
  17. Faye/Rozehnal for Arsenal uy reckans. Faye to combat the aerial threat of Adebayor (assuming he plays; the theory works for Da Silva anyway), and Rozehnal to counter whichever pacy striker they play.
  18. Making Viduka and Owen... what? Penis ejaculating?
  19. Arca has two, Bale also. Not sure if those have been playing at the back though. Yeah, knew someone was going to say Bale. Zoggy's got three anyway. Class player. I'll be bold and wager now that, at the end of Allardyce's reign here (whenever that is), we'll say that rejuvinating N'Zogbia was one of his biggest and key achievements... Very bold, then.
  20. Btw, is there a full-back that's scored more goals in the Premiership this season than him?
