Some fucking people. Honest to God. It was a simple statement. Stop making something out of nothing for crying out loud. Fucking itching for an opportunity to have another go at the lad.
  6. How often does Milner take up good positions in the box? How often does Milner show variety in his crossing and whip it in behind the back four? Quite often How often does Milner beat his man, get away from him and draw other defenders out of position like N'Zogbia does? Quite often How often does he stretch games? etc. Imo. And the top one, well that just ain't his game - he hugs the touchline. Call me cynical and presumptuous, but you're bound to point that out as a flaw, given that you admire Robert so much (that's the presumptuous bit...). (?) Can you give me some examples of when he's whipped good balls in behind the back four? If you look at N'Zogbia's time on the wing he done it quite alot, Owen scored from a few of them and it's the sort of cross wingers need to put in. Milner on the other hand gets the ball, beats his man, beats him again because he's too slow to run away from him and goes for the high ball into the box, the problem with that is while he's be fannying around out on the touchline the opposition have had time to pack the penalty box out. Bolton. When? Had a look around but can't find the clip... i think it was Milner's ball for Martins' overhead...? Might be wrong.

  8. I am not a phucking fan boy. Lunatics come out the wood work talking about replacing a future prospect 6 games into a season. Fooking stupid twat. Laters.
  9. Who, in fuck's name, is actually saying that?

You make some decent points but i do still think you're overly harsh on the guy. He's a very consistent performer for us. I've, very rarely, pondered if he goes into the Scott Parker category*, but i just don't think he does. He does a lot more for us in a match than Parker ever did, from his respective position. * This being: he appears to be one of the best players in the team on the face of it, when infact we'd actually perform better without him. Shola is one of these players aswell.
  11. Gonna do what i can to get near to the Ultras again when i go up for the Spurs game, and i bet it'll be a decent experience being at the top of the Leazes. But i could do with similar advice in general, really.

    Women's World Cup

There was someone on here who fancied that Yankey one for a while. Can't remember who though. My uncle used to date her.
  13. 1. I bet Taylor was good in the reserves aswell. 2. You've seen Edgar in TWO league games, and an FA Cup match.
  14. What a peculiar comment to make. That based on a hunch or something?
  15. Nonsencial if we don't do what we can to keep him. One of our brightest talents and the best centre-back we've brought through the ranks for years I'm not going to go into the obvious points because that will have been discussed and, well, it's a bit samey to do that. On a side-note though (dunno if it's already been mentioned)... aye, Rozehnal/Faye/Cacapa/Beye are there to bring immediate improvement to the backline, but they've been brought in to bring Taylor on aswell - i'd bet. So that's around £6m put towards helping Taylor's progression, in one summer, when you look at it. We should do our utmost to keep him, and i can imagine Allardyce will see that that happens.
  16. Rocker/NSG/whichever one it was, told me they didn't reckon much to him. I'll go with their opinion n'all given they go/used to go to every youth game. Other than that, don't know anything.

    Emre

Can't say i'd be overly fussed if Emre were to leave, because we'd no doubt make a profit, or atleast get our money back. If that is the case then it's good business. He looked good at first and could have been a very good signing; i'll stand by what i've said before and say that's he's definitely got potential to do well for us, but as the months and seasons pass, it's getting less and less likely that he'll fulfil that potential. He's far too injury prone for a start off. Obviously, we'll see how the season pans out for our midfield as the year progresses, but if we can lump Emre out for a decent fee, and add it to whatever Mort's got in the kitty - it'd be great to see us go all out for a class creative midfidler. If bringing one of those players in means ousting Emre, i don't have a problem.

    Israeli National Anthem's dead groovy.
  19. Will be fantastic for us if he scores tonight.

England to win 1-0. Heskey to score. Btw, i know we're not keen on Smith, but it's an absolutely insult to the fella that he's been thrown out of the 18, in place of Heskey - given how he performed against Germany.
  21. Also the likes of Fran Merida and Carlos Vela coming through the ranks. Scary.
