Needs to have a word with his mate Stevie G. He was naff! Missed an absolute sitter! Shocking was that.
-
May have to struggle on with Evra, Heinze, Silvestre & O'Shea . Like i said earlier, if you believe every single paper in the national press - it was pretty clear that United were after a left-back. And Heinze is leaving and Silvestre's crap.

Injury to Eto ring a bell? What about it? Liverpool were all over them in the 2nd leg, that had nothing to do with Sammy. Spot on. Undeniable that he made one or two bad decisions tonight, though.
-
Honestly feel that he cocked up a wee bit tonight. The Milan defense were a bit scrappy and made a couple of blunders, but still managed to boss all of Liverpool's 'attacking mentality'. Gerrard was ineffective and Kuyt struggled up there on his own - another striker was a must.
-
Pleased with that, couldn't face the Scousers going on about it another time. Difference was there - Milan took their chances, Liverpool didn't have any. To say it was the most undeserved victory ever is a serious exaggeration, Liverpool had the majority of the second half, but they were never going to win with that line-up. They needed two strikers from the off.
-
They've done fuck all so far, Milan completely governing the game from the back. For me, Mascherano has been Liverpool's only real shining player; they need another striker on if they're going to cause Milan any problems.
-
Fucking come on. Fecking sick of the commentators bumming Liverpool... they've done FUCK all, with their shite long ball tactics, and even when it's out no the wings - it's Pennat and Zenden man. Bloody hell, shut it. Come on Milan.

As i stated earlier on in this thread i have been told that we will be having a Argentina style shirt using the blue from the home shirt trim Ah yes of course... sounds nice does that. Where did you get this from again?
-
Past his sell by date but we've got a lot to thank him for.
-
Strange that they would want to replace Evra in the first place. Agreed. But there's no mistaking that they've been in for Bale for ages, if you believe every newspaper out there, plus Heinze is supposed to be leaving.
-
If it's double figures they are paying, he can brag all he wants, because it's not worth it.
-
Makes you wonder what Man Utd will do now...
-
I would rather him mull it over, agree a 1 year contract extension then stay. None of the big hitters are after him so i don't know why you're holding out hope for someone to come in and pay significant money for him. He won't go anywhere this season. But his price tag will go up. Said this before - he'll use this season as a stepping stone to a big move, at the very least. if anything it will come down as he will have less time left on his deal? Aye, i suppose that might be right. However, personally, i'd rather we didn't sell him off for £11m now. But instead, let him score 20 goals next season and sell him off for £8m. If you catch my drift. Entirely hypothetical, obviously.

Delving into the world of so-called In The Knows... anyone got any alleged/my wife's brother's wife's auntie's pet cat's wife news on a new away kit(s) at Newcastle? Just interested, even if it is bullpoo.
-
Decent shout! But i doubt Villa will be letting him go any time soon, and it'd be a bit daft to pay lots of money for him.
-
Comparing Martins to Kluivert then comparing him to Henry, in an attempt to decipher whether he's good enough for us. Wowzar.
-
He never had injuries before that, then. Who popped the lid off the crazy pills tonight?
-
Yet it was your primary argument response in your previous post.
-
More injury prone than Owen, then.
-
TBH, i can't even believe i'm debating this - so i'm just not gonna bother. I think you're a cracking poster and definitely one of the more knowledgeable ones here, Nut, but nah.
-
I'd probably believe that aswell. And the first bit is the absolute truth. Aye, he should have been playing instead of Shearer, but he spent too much time on the injury table (baring in mind that Shearer had a three-month stint out), and couldn't give a shit. Martins has done better than him in so many ways.
