  1. He's said and done all the right things since he's come in though. If some people were firmly on the fence when he came, there's only one way they could potentially have swayed during the past week or so. Already, he's... Outlined a plan Actually spoken articulately and as if he knows what he is really talking about Vowed to sort out the injury situation, aswell as the backroom staff Booted the likes of Bramble, Moore and Sibierski Held talks with his main men back at Bolton Promised to sort out the Michael Owen debacle Seemingly identified transfer targets Not a bad hour and a half.
  2. Viduka on a free. His options are open, i know - but we should make a big effort to go for him when there's such a quality player right under our nose. If that doesn't work out, concentrate then on oberving more expensive options. Baptista is out of the equation though, as he simply would not be worth the money.
  3. If you haven't noticed, a lot has changed in that hour and a half. What hasn't changed is that we've still got a class manager who is going to take us forward. Surely you should know that Sam Allardyce is hardly a manager that is all about the signings, he isn't*. Suppose i can see an argument, but a bit of a silly question, imo. *And, when you look at when he has had money to spend at Bolton, he's brought in the likes of Meite, Diouf and Anelka. And i think it's safe to say that they all worked out for him.
  4. Been in the job round about an hour and half, and we're posing the question if he is 'still' right for the job...

    Andy Carroll.

Preferably Carlisle. Derby could well be a Premiership outfit and he probably wouldn't get a massive amount of games anyway. Carlisle would be a good move. Same goes for Huntington.
  6. That's purely my assumation from the named players btw. Ah right OK. Lennon could be down the middle then... Still. Good to see Barry get a game.
  7. Bentley in the middle? Phil Neville down the right? Groan.
  8. He looks a right misery guts http://img501.imageshack.us/img501/5360/phonecam042vh1.jpg
  9. Wasn't even complaining. Just asked for a link.
  10. I fear inflation tbh. Is everybody really richer?
  11. Difference is here, Wigan are in the shitter now. They were in a strong position last season.
  12. A link but I'm too embarrassed to post it. Look alright ... it was tribal football, but bearing in mind it isn't an obvious player and Big Sam does sign some unknowns I reckoned it was worth at least a mention and a chat. Is that alright with you sir? Care to tell us a bit about the player if you can? Just post the link, mate. Not bothered where you got it from.
  13. Which goal was better... Nobby's last season against Everton - or Martins'? Tough one; the technique was probably better for Solano's. Just love that Martins goal, though.
  14. Yup, Woodgate's. Also the first game i ever saw illegally. Just knew instantly - this guy was gonna be good for us.

All for cleaning up the forum tbh.
  16. This is the current poll on .co.uk... which one was your favourite? For me, no competition - even though they are all great goals... Martins' against Spurs. Utter cannonball of a shot completely out of nowhere. One of my favourite ever NUFC goals, which i'll probably get slated for, but it just is - the whole moment of it. Class goal. Milner's against Man Utd coming a not-close second.
  17. Honestly, the sentimental shite and the goddamn "You'll Never Walk Alone" ... argh Gawd. http://img444.imageshack.us/img444/1327/mrt2rn7.jpg GET SOME NUTS.

So much for this cut-down on nonsense threads. What could possibly have stopped you from PMing him? He's more likely to read it if you do that n'all.
  19. As i pointed out earlier, FWY, you're basically just bragging here. You've got the right to i suppose, but you're just another arrogant bastard Scouser, and the epitomy of why a lot of us are pleased with tonight's outcome.
  20. Will just post it again tbh. We're bitter, yup. Doesn't effect the team's performances. We haven't failed for the past 50 years cos the fans are 'bitter'. Not going to stop us revelling in the fact that the Scousers can't come out with their sentimental bollocks for atleast another 12 months.
  21. No. Basically all Frank has done is bragged.
  22. Too right we're bitter. I'm not gonna deny that, i'm realistic. I'd give anything to do what Liverpool have done. The fact that we've done fuck all isn't gonna stop me wanting Liverpool to lose, mind.
  23. If we're being completely pedantic, it was more like 17 second, and there wasn't a cat in hell's chance they were gonna get anything. Clutching at straws to the very limit.
