  1. What has Kieron Dyer ever done for England?
  2. Get the hell in there. Fantastic! They'll need to improve their squad quite a lot, but i think the money's there so come on Derby!
  3. Yorkie

    Nani

    Think i've heard of him.
  4. Hopefully Derby. But unfortunately - Derby have a shite defense and West Brom have an excellent attack. Not expecting mucj.
  5. Early stages i know, but if United get in a good centre-forward, they'll win it by a landslide next year imo.
  6. Shouldn't even be one tbh.
  7. Inevitable. And... wahahaha. I don't hate them cos of their money, i just hate them. Bunch of fucking dirty, cheating cunts in their team.
  8. No, we'll just offer him a contract. His contract expires (probably) 1st of July or something like that, but contract's can be sorted out beforehand. Even if we pay Bolton, he doesn't have to come here if he doesn't want to.
  9. Rather have Crouch.
  10. Have to say, i thought it was 1st June... But, as has been said - it's largely irrelevant because everything bar the signature can be done beforehand. The Gareth Bale thing has officially confuddled me, though.
  11. Does the transfer window apply to free transfers too though? I'm not sure No but Ben Haim isnt a free transfer until July 1st. Meh, contracts are agreed. Very good news! Can't say i'm overly surprised.
  12. Precisely. If we were to sign someone like Peter Crouch, he has the potential to work extremely well here, and seriously push us forward in our striking department. And, although the price is steep, it shouldn't have to matter. If the money is there, we can spend it - because the guy is proven quality and like i say, could do so much for us. Which is why i disagree with the people saying "£10m's to steep, £8m at the most..." and things of that gist, because i think that might be asking for too much. That's too perfect. Plus, as i said earlier - if we were to bring in a free like Viduka aswell, it's excellent business. Martins, Crouch, Ameobi and Viduka is an excellent range of strikers to choose from.
  13. Totally irrelevant. Its like saying am getting paid at the end of the month, i think i'll stick the £50 note down the drain. This all good if Ashley takes full control and he is willing to put this kind of money in and its not just paper talk. Blimey someone's in a foul mood. Go have a lie down old chap. You'll feel better in the morning. By the way ... I totally agree with you about Owen. Think he's got not guts or courage. If he wants to leave he should at least have the guts to say so. It's funny because I never wanted him here from the moment he said he only wanted to come on loan. However, everyone was so ecstatic about getting him. Personally, I've got no respect for the man. I can't believe anyone still hopes he will stay. I for one will be happy when he moves on, but everyone is entitled to their feelings on the matter. As for Mr. CAshley, I am choosing to remain optimistinc as it is about time we had a bit of luck! The Owen situation is fuking me off tbh. Had a Scouse cunt going on about it today, adamant he's going back for £9m & on less wages, paid for by the sale of Bellamy for near enough the same price, which makes us letting him go for less than £6m even worse. Its a possibility, a real one, and Owen keeping quiet on the situation says it all really, he has no ounce of guilt, not one ounce of respect for our club, and he's counting the days to leave. Oh stop it ya cheeky mare.
  14. "Goodness grief!" "Blimey!" "Oo you're in a foul mood!" "Have a lie down old chap!" More from the KaKa Gay collection are available to buy from his exclusive CD-Rom!
  15. Lmao!!! Iv heard our "badge" be called a few things, though thats a 1st!! I dont think theres been a worse recent kit in the prem though than that red thing u wear away Rank wasn't it!
  16. The potential of the attacking triplet of Milner, Emre and Duff is vast. Needs a good coach to sort em out.
  17. £10m for Crouch is a bit of a rip off. £10m for Crouch and Viduka... is good business. Still, if we're gonna spend that sort of money on a striker, i'd rather it be someone else. But i like Crouch and i think he could work here. He's got a decent goalscoring record, whichever way you look at it.
  18. We amassed a mammoth 3 points from those 6 games last year 2!
  19. I know. There was a slight exaggeration. Always nice to get those ones out of the way earlier on though. They're an annoyance when spread out. Last season, we actually had a very, very nice run-in from like the end of March/onwards. There was only Arsenal and Chelsea to play at home, out of the big boys. Something like the last ten or eleven games were quite tasty. But of course, we were blessed with Roeder. Onto topic, definitely Spurs (H). Tough game, but definitely winnable. And if we do win, then it'd be a major confidence boost. Plus i don't like them and love it when we beat them. But regardless of who we're playing, i'd love to be there for the first home day.
  20. Aye, in an ideal world the first four games of the season would be Man United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool all away.
  21. Hoping to get to this one, so not Sunderland. Spurs.
  22. Quicker the better imo. News like this will only mean the fans will side with the new guy, obviously (and why the story is appearing before the board meeting next week) Yeah but didn't Allardyce say that fans need to be patient about what he does. Yup, and i'm alongside him there in every way. But, if this is all true, he's got £45,000,000 to spend this summer - on top of an already half-decent squad - and we're in the bottom half come next May, then he's underachieving. SO excited!
