He's gotten older and injuries have hampered his career significantly; he'd been off the scene for yonks and it was bound to take him a while to get back to how he was. He still hasn't and probably won't do now - but in his first season at United, he was class. For the right price, i'd be chuffed to see a player of his calibre here. Campbell and Heinze - what a fucking improvement that would be! Not only ability-wise, but they're both plus-30 (yet still have the quality) and will bring on the likes of Taylor no end. As bad as Bramble for crying out fucking loud. Heinze got fucked by Kaka, one of if not the current best player in World Football - Bramble gets fucked by Tomasz Radzinski. There's the difference. Personally, I'd like to see Carroll in ahead of Sibierski. The lad needs experience and he's not going to get it if he's behind that fucking plank. With all due respect like... If we don't plan to send Carroll out on loan, then aye... let Sibierski go.

Harmless holding onto Sibierski for another season. I was against keeping him on under Roeder, because i knew that he'd be content with that striking line-up and wouldn't add to it. But Sam knows that the forward department needs adding to, so there's no harm in brining in Viduka and hanging onto Sibierski at the same time. He won't be on much and i'm content with him as a 'bottom-of-the-barrel' player, to put it cruelly.

Taylor's got boatloads more potential than Bramble ever did. I don't think he's brilliant, and i don't think he ever will be especially, but i think he'll turn into a very good player; he's been our best defender this season, without being startlingly good. Needs some good coaching and a good partner, and then i think he'll turn into a very good centre-half.

Keep him on as a goalkeeper coach ? Why? He came from the Portuguese third division or whatever. He was like any other keeper from that standard - why should he be a good coach? The only reason why we brought him back was because he was Pav.
