Find that almost as hard to believe as the idea that we could sell him in January.

Deeney is a new low for mainstream punditry, like. Aghast at why that idiot is given air time on TalkSport let alone Match of the Day.

I got the full 97-99 kit for Christmas. Shorts were shiny and like a two-tone stripe iirc. It was an epic kit tbf, not among the very best, but still special.

The perfect shirt has stripes on the back.

A plague on both your houses.

I'm just a fucking diva when it comes to kits.

I think this is a bit of a myth. It's just a nice coincidence that the two best kits of the modern era were worn by the best teams. I don't think there's huge fondness for the 01-03 NTL kit, or the Castore one from Howe's 4th place finish? And no one's gushing over those honking Puma efforts if the teams had been brilliant. As for where we go next, I'm gagging for something fresh now. I'm so, so over throwback culture. Fine, Adidas are back, and they were always gonna do the thing. Fair dos, the away kit is a cracker but the third and particularly the home are absolutely woeful recreations. Can we just move on now?

Last season's is the best kit we've had post-Adidas imo. 1. 23/24 2. 17/18 3. 22/23 4. 18/19 5. 11/12 Worst: 1. 13/14 2. 15/16 3. 14/15 4. 21/22 5. 19/20

I never minded 07-09. The Puma efforts of 13/14, 14/15 and 15/16 were all a total disgrace. Think this one tops it for me. WOAT.

Yorkshire Puddings have a place on most dinners.

All I've ever wanted is for us to have a climbing wall.

Obscene that we can go 12 months investing next to nowt and still be up against it PSR-wise. It's not like we went mental with the spending after the takeover.

I assume what tier they're in doesn't really indicate one thing or another? I guessed that the incredible early interest was mainly accountable to the good vibes post-takeover and simply the existence of a women's team that was being taken seriously. Surely it was never likely that they'd sustain those levels, so if that early engagement has wrought a baseline support of ~10,000, that's presumably a pretty great result? Guess the Kingston Park attendances are more of a barometer anyway.

Can't abide Bellingham, like. Proper throwback to the late noughties when I couldn't stand half the squad.

Have we already figured out the three NUFC players in some starting line-up in 1997?

Peculiar to see a new badge be more detailed.

That sounds absolutely fantastic.

I dunno which one you mean but okay, Rod.
